Guys , I need an aircond for my house , too hot with recent temp. Below are the details
Cooling area living room. 24× 21feet x13 feet ceiling. The problem is in the middle of the living room is the stairs to 2nd floor.
So should I install the aircond on the wall of the stairs so cold air can blow to living room or install at living room ? How many hp and inverter or non inverter ? Normally I will use during night 5 hrs only.thanks

Stair way is not big problem because cold air won't travel up. Dont install your ac ti blow toward the staiway. But if you plan to run long hours us more efficient to cover up that area.

Mitsubishi heavy industrial for without easy clean feature for me I won't go for this, it is even cheaper. If you can get better air quality then go for Mitsubishi electric with easy access to blower and clean for own, then to be more cost saving for yearly maintenance else. Cheers

im looking for 2hp aircond. confused which one to buy. my requirements
- reliable (less breakdown possibility) - easy maintenance - quiet(i know, slow fan to quiet down. but assuming full fan, which is the quietest.) - warranty and honour (some product have long warranty, but doesnt really honour them.)
which brand would you recommend?
also, why people always say that mitsubishi heavy industries have the best aircond? i read the spreadsheet data on this thread first post, but cant understand any.
what would you look before purchasing aircond?
thanks.

Seriously i don't think 1HP is enuff. 10ft x 10ft room u need at least 1.0 HP. So ur one about 20feet x 15 feet. it is so big you know. My room is 18 feet x 10 feet, i am using 1.5HP inverter and i regret. Tomorrow i am changing to 2.0 HP inverter.

Is like same car chassis a 2L vs a 2.5L engine, the 2.5L running same and even better in high way consumption taking from experience xtrail.

calling any panasonic experts...
do the latest QKH series (2014 model) come with inverter models (CS-SxxQKH)? so far only the older PKH series (2013 model) only come with inverter models (CS-SxxPKH)
CS-C24QKH (2014 model, non inverter): 2130watt (maximum) CS-S24PKH (2013 model, inverter): 2200watt (maximum)
or it could be sign of discontinued of inverter model for QKH onwards as the maximum power consumption are almost the same...
