All dogs are the same inside, regardless if they look pretty or ugly on the outside (interesting to note: most people shun the Chinese Crested, saying they look pariah!).

Well besides the obvious reasons like what you say, there are people who think mongrels not as good or deserving as pure breeds. My mom will frown whenever I bring home a stray pup. Scold me and the poor doggy some more, but become so nice to my aunt's Stafforshire bull terrier. "England mari" methinks. =_=

I still will love mongrels more. That's cause I haven't had a purebreed yet.
