Did not feel too much different heatwise from ipad 2 compared to the Air.
What did you do exactly when you have a hot feeling on the Air? After 2 hours of gaming ? After or while watching 1080p movie ? Online using LTE for a while ?
Do tell.

it does feel warm with gaming.. but I think that's normal. It's not too hot til its unbearable. I think it's just warm where my Galaxy S4 is super hot when gaming.

Thks for all inputs, I do feel warm when surfing which i never had this experience with my ipad 2. Hope it is normal. Definitely there is difference compare ipad air and ipad 2, maybe I'm not used to it.

What do you expect?? Icy cool ipad?
the ipad already thinner, hence your finger/palm will definitely sense more heat from the surface. Is very normal.

Lol,it's normal.Apple's high powered A7 chip gets hot due to gaming, browsing,MAINLY because of the Graphics.

My ipad 3 powered by A5X chip gets hot(can even fry egg) but don't worry.thats normal.it won't explode or overheat.
