Hey guys, i juz buy a Pentium D 930 3.0GHz. did anybody at here do the overclock before? the maximum i can go is onli 4.0GHz in stable mode, 4.53GHz for 3 mins..... can anyone provide advise to me on how to make it higher or make it more stable???

even though i also used pentium D 930, i still cannot OC it because i dont have a better HSF yet..by the way how much the temp of your chip when you OC it to 4GB..? and also what HSF did You use..?Mind to share...

yup... vey99 is rite.. intel mobo are not oc'able.. dem.. if u are into OC.. juz drop down to ASUS, Gigabyte, or even MSI outlet.. best still ASUS... huhuhu...
to yhcyber.. i think u muz decrease the timing of your RAM.. look up for software such as cpu-z.. from there go into SPD tab and look up for the slot that u had install the RAM... jot the lowest frequency available.. n all other info.. under the lowest frequency.. then go BIOS.. under Integrated Chipset.. set the memory timing to lowest that u had jot down juz now.. this is bcuz.. when u increase the FSB, the RAM will increase too.. so use the lowest timing.. gd luck... |
