wat obvious for me...we miss jonesy so bad...his determination to win ball back...hunt the ball down...win it...nobody step up to his role...if we can keep him fit n injury free...we will be fine...it'll look like we sign a new holding player...as for time being i prefer him at holding position...let smalling n evans at CB...later when them team has settle down...he can rotate CB position among 3 of them n senior player can guide when needed...he can develop n get game time there for now...

I was right all along about Carrick. He was crap before the injury. He's been crap all season. A fit Carrick will bring about no goals, no assists, sub-par defending, ineffective passing and an inability to dominate the midfield. The annual good assist and a bunch of interceptions doesnt make up for that considering he nearly cost £20m. As I already said people are scared to tell the truth about Carrick because his fanboys will come crying claiming they know nothing about football. Do you Carrick fanboys watch football or just look at passing stats? Tom Cleverley has a higher pass rate and he's been equally crap this season (even though he has more goals and assists). Passing stats are overrated. Maybe people should attempt watching a Man Utd match if you don't fall asleep from all the boring slow-paced backwards, sideways, ineffective forward passing. Fletcher is so much more effective on the ball than him. Carrick is the most overrated player in premiere league history.

Man Utd need a complete overhaul of its First XI and the Manager himself. Moyes is more suited to coach a mid-table club with shoe string budget. Once he is given plentiful of funds, he only aim for impossible targets like Fabregas or buying crap players like Fellani.

14 key passes overall. Makes you wonder really how much is his contribution to the team. Even Evra and Valencia had more. (albeit Carrick missing some games)

Nothing against him though, you are right he has been among united best performer and more important a reliable and consistent performer. Just not this season.

we had said that about him and valencia, but we also knew what happened...but consensus here is if you tried to talk about tactics you are spoilt brat, lalang, glory hunter blah blah blah
