that's close beta only for ppl who buy the founder item.

Its another X-LEGEND ( China developer ) game . But they seem to be the ONLY China developer that ever develop decent standard MMORPG . Eden Eternal wasn't groundbreaking but was at least fun .

Tried the game before from CN server and it was quite fun .You can sign up for beta but it will commence only after the closed beta , you can pledge for the founder package which is ridiculously priced though .

The cheapest package is 19.99 USD which is basically nothing but only allow you to play the closed beta which will be wiped , the rest cost hundred and thousand of MYR , doesn't really worth it for F2P game . Hopefully this doesn't point to the signs of another P2W game.

P/S : Aeria games had shut down several of their games in the past , so spending big $ in this game is not very recommended.

X-Legend is from taiwan,not china,but then they have done worse.

X-Legend does indeed has a studio in Taiwan. ( In fact it was founded in TW )


Currently X-Legend has 7 studios worldwide , stationed in Japan , China , HK and TW . These studios are working independently on titles .
They also had one in the USA that is working exclusively for English Localization , but unsure if it is still working.

This game was developed from Studios in China .
How did I know ? Back when they started to look for game tester in the 6 months long closed-beta , the ALTA publisher has already been widely advertising about this in China and HK.

At the same time their company profile has also registered the HQ is in Greater China ( assuming that you know what Greater China is )
I thought it was covered in general geography the fifth or fourth grade , sad.



P/S: Did I also have to remind you Taiwan is part of China ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan Perhaps a little more reading on the news would do you good .

It is entirely up to you , the most basic founder package is priced at 19.99 usd ( roughly 64.64 Ringgit Malaysia )
But it only grants you the most basic items and closed beta access to an originally Free2play game.



Are you excited about the game ? Do you really want to try it out to the point you don't mind to play the closed beta just for having fun for a few weeks and then
to have all your character data wiped ?

If so you can buy the package .

btw i'm sided with most Taiwanese ppl that is Taiwan is not a part of China.

I know about the Taiwanese refusal to accept CN mainland , its exactly the same question as " Is Hong Kong part of China ? " . But looking at the real life news and facts , CN Mainland is already forcing UN to recognize Taiwan as part of its province ( 23rd ) . Taiwan by itself is not a country , it is a state. And in this case , TW and HK both aren't notable for producing many MMOs , usually when people referred to Chinese / China MMO , Taiwan and HK are also included because HK/TW do not have many notable MMO developers by themselves unlike Korea or Japan.

The argument can go on forever , but one thing I am sure of would be Alta's version of Fantasy Frontier ( Aura Kingdom ) was released ahead of the TW version .
They have also hosted an Alpha testing phase which unlike the TW version going straight into CB .
People outside of these region got them confused because most CN games blocked IP from the oversea so most ppl wouldn't be able to play it .


There was this time where I saw the China players were thinking W.O.W was Made in China , USA merely " bought the copyright " to publish it in China . They didn't actually know W.O.W US existed 3 years before W.O.W CN was released , how ridiculous .

After CBT , the CBT will last a few weeks at least according to their GM Blog . So probably Early next year .

i wonder why did they abandon kitsu saga.... that game is worth to play rather than eden eternal and grand fantasia

I will play this game..must try..

Opinions can be deeply subjective , personally don't find it intriguing at all even after the "improvement " patch it had received before shutting down.


But of course kitsu saga was ultimately closed because most of the players have abandoned the game , Aeria had difficulty maintaining the game.

So it wasn't about which game is better , a game can be so good and if it can't generate enough profit to sustain the cost it won't be going far.

the thing is, kitsu saga is more to like friendly aspect of game.... grand fantasia? all i can say is its making level 10 hard lol when they know they need alts to get more stuff... i know this because i have like.... 10 alts to get more reputation and more island keeper.... (this is just for the lulz)

eden eternal? i play like..... level 15 and ive lost interest on it...

Anybody can give me he gm blog? Wanna to track the progress myself for more understanding )

Or is that a shameless promotion of your own channel ?
I have seen that guy b4 posting in every mmo site I went but he is mostly ignored by everyone .
Most of the videos belong to the amateurs quality .
There is a reason why the channel only has 144 subscribers .
