Erm.. mod plz move this thread if wrong place Have anyone tried using a cluster size of more than 4kb to run windows XP? it is supposed to be faster because it transfer bigger chunks of data to the ram. but compression is not supported. I have 30gb for my C drive and currently the size of data is 15gb. I wonder if i set the cluster size to 64kb what will happen... my data probably increase to 25gb but if the speed is significantly faster it should be worth it arr... I wonder if i take my hdd to another comp, copy my whole C drive out, format the partition and copy it back.. will it work? no time to try now.. have to wait until after exams in august Edit: uploaded my disk management panel. The best is to ghost your drive content now and then experiment with your current drive. Good luck with that
