QUOTE(pristine @ Dec 17 2013, 03:50 PM) I got my keycaps from our friends here on the forums. Vortex and Ducky PBTs, plus some Signature Plastic double shots. So you've changed all the switches to clear ones? Not fancy a linear switch I reckon?I painted mine silver. If you look closely, the bottom part of my case is still black. And the plate inside is red. Only the red switch one has a red plate. Mine are clear switches though. Had it modified. Well I've been looking at garage sales for keycaps bulk sale or such, couldnt find one atm. But good to know that Vortex and Ducky keycaps can actually fit in QFR. Guessed ive to start searching at international online stores for them. |

QUOTE(justnits @ Dec 17 2013, 04:09 PM) if u look at my signature, u'll find the link I just did. Hmmmm. It's rather tempting! u'll be able to see pictures, see if it suits to your taste. these are PBT thick doubleshot. expect high durability key quality. So by having a PBT caps, I dont have to worry about letter fading/wear or keycap shine do i? Anyhow, do you happen to have the normal font ones? |

To those who had once used / currently using QFR, i've a question here.
The keyboard is not detectable whenever the drop down list of Launch startup repair / start windows normally screen pops up. Which is annoying because i cannot able to choose "start windows normally", it chosen the highlighted "start up repair" instead. Is this normal? QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Dec 27 2013, 12:26 PM) Do you want to always start windows normally? Yes because i have an overclocked system.Go to command prompt with admin, CODE bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures In the future, you computer will not ask you about start up repair or start windows normally. By default, will help you choose start windows normally. Nway, will try your method later. Thanks btw~ |

QUOTE(paradis3lost @ Dec 27 2013, 11:47 PM) Yes. For me, the CM QFR keystrokes does not register before Windows login screen. It does not work in BIOS/Select between Startup repair/Start normally. Thank you for clearing up this matter. At least i know it's a common issue.Tried some solutions found online but none of them worked for me so I plugged in another keyboard to bypass the issue. Well, it is rather annoying to not being able to use your so called expensive mech keyboard for such an easy task. Anyhow, apart from this glitch QFR is still a good mech keyboard. Love it to bits~ |
