Guys, cause CES is coming, should we wait for any new keyboards coming out, or just ones that are available now?

Hahaha, I don't know where to bring him to try Das out. Don't see any shops in SG selling it and the dev haven't used Ducky before, gonna poison convince her once she's back from holidays. The backlit and typing feeling is yummmy.
I was thinking of either waiting or a Roccat Ryos MK, untill I go try out the Ducky - and with a little more urging from the folks here, I am now a proud Ducky owner biggrin.gif

isnt the roccat already released? you try the shops around, maybe there some that can be test-typed on. and the price for one aint that half bad.

too bad the fonts aren't white and green as ccng does, but its still good looking.
If the price is high i will just forget about it haha.

yours doesn't come with a converter?

anyway, got mine working, apparently if i hook my model m straight to my motherboard's ps2, it doesn't work.
i bought a ps2 to usb converter and it works!  rclxm9.gif

The guy who sold my ibm added bout rm10 for an converter, being a cheapskate that I am. tongue.gif
But, if it works using a converter, so no worries. Just if you have a another pc to try on, try the PS2 connector.
Just in case.

A summary of news on CES that concerns keyboards in general.

By Rosewill:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/7695/rosewil...and-more-at-ces

By Corsair:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/7685/hands-o...boards-and-more

By CM Storm:
The Novatouch and backlit version of QFR-ish KB.

By Diamond Multimedia:
http://www.legitreviews.com/diamond-multimedia_133447

Among those four, I'm liking CM Storm camp. Rosewill was kinda silent on MKBs, maybe just an update on their budget line.
If i missed a few, do add.

Agree... Brown feel like linear to me. The tactile so light as if it's non tactile for me. But red very nice wo... Clouds...

I second that! Using clears have been a very different from the browns. The difference between them is very "clear" rolleyes.gif , the tactile is fun and very helpful in typing.

supposedly have 3 functions:-
1) Prevent dust from going inside.
there was ppl mentioning that after the first time they open up the switch housing, dust seems to be able to get in more easily.
applying sticker helps

2) Makes your switch housing more stable, as in doesn't wobble.
i'm curious to see how it feels like...i haven't personally tried both stickered and non-stickered switch yet.

3) Makes your switch housing looks more sexy  doh.gif  laugh.gif
My other plan was to get transparent switch top housing and replace them, so it makes the housing looks pinkish...but actually it's only for my own SS-ness since when you put keycaps...apa pun xleh nampak d XD
*
For the second function, will it help reduce my keys from wobbling? not sure if its because keycaps or key stem or something else.
