Haha... I was, I don't know. For sure, my intention getting mech kb is to own high end rig with high end peripheral. But now, I don't know what to say anymore. Christmas is coming, I worry for mech kb and I don't give a damn for Christmas celebration and preparation. I blame this thread.

IMO, it's not cheating. But only not worth it. Just like spending money for Beats headphone and earphone, you can get something better at similar price range. Gaming brand are not bad, it's just... 1) Turn off backlit.
2) Pay forumer to desolder all the LED.
3) Get non backlit keyboard.
4) Get non backlit CUSTOM keyboard.

This is the most unreliable things to do. No one should do this IMO.
