oh man..take care of ur health lar...plus no gf besides u...This might affect ur spirit.

Business can put aside until u feel free which this freelance.
This forum still need u in good condition..haha.

Pcwork told me completed a cable need hours of work. It is not simply cut & connect then solder stuff..

Time consuming is a matter & using bared eyes to work under tiny details which will make eyes tired in a few couple hours.
No one wan a poor quality work wif their paid, rite?

Guys,
Pls quit PM him for a while until PCwork personally "announce" to receive new orders.
Else, u guys will just worry why the PM was not answer for quite a long while & suspecting his business service.

Pcwork always do work wif full of promise.

p/s: Hey, Pete. Goood luck in ur exam!. All the Best~!

really thanks for understanding. brother, very appriciate it.. notworthy.gif

QUOTE(Tachikoma @ Sep 27 2006, 01:55 PM)
personally if I were PcWork I'd be selling everything at 2x the price whistling.gif
*
=) laugh.gif just bring some low entry cable so people change their mind that " cable doesn't make a change on audio" =) while i don't really think i will feel good if i sell too expensive. well in audiophile, i prefer to think that we are all person which shares same hobbies, and it's good if i can provide somethings good to the community of music lover, even a minor one. =)

QUOTE(Tachikoma @ Sep 28 2006, 12:25 PM)
I would still call most audiophile cables a con job. PcWork's profit margin is barely 20% while the audiophile companies make something like 5000% sleep.gif
*
most of the cases, not around 15-20%. meaning RM100 cable, i take around RM 15- RM 20. =) some time slightly more.

and to be fair, my supplier give me higher price. but with stable stock, and i can call to reserve those things and take another day. so once i confirmed customers order, meaning i already place order in the shop, and confirmed they have stock, and also most important they reserve it for me already. that's why i willing to pay slightly more, but to ensure i always get the stock after i confirm order with customers.

tong lee hifi shop in lowyat plaza once told me, tansparent cable is so famouse becuase their performance can fight other brand cable which the price is at least 2-5 times more expensive than price of transparent cable. =)

Does anyone know how big is the F-12 ?
Can it fit on Little Dot Micro+ ?
The space between the volume control and the plug looks quite narrow.
*
fren. i think cannot
its as big as MY THUMB.
=)
very fat.
diameter is around 1.5CM-2CM

will annouce here once i take order.
my final year project will settle around early of november. then i go back sarawak at END of november.
guess at that time,, hopefully i am not busy, i can take 1 time of order. after that, i graduate and going to pratical. then mean no more cable making. until NEXT YEAR this time, i will continue my study. then maybe ,but i guess around that time, should have many other good cable maker selling their cable around here. and probally no need me already .=)

and price of plugs and cable has some minor fluctuation, ETA each set of cable will increase RM10 cost.
will let you guys know after i settle my things.

lol. that is super duper expensive dude. if i sell at that price, i already damn rich man. haha roughly it's at least triple my profit.. =)
i am selling RM 115 for the RCA-RCA which uses 4 RCA plug of Canare f-10 + 4 Meter of starquad cable. =)
stereo cable = 2 meter starquad + 2 X f-12
but anyway. F-12 is not available until now. sucks
been wait for it long long time already.

hey guys....can someone give me some comments/ thoughts on the following cable combos

1/ Canare L-4E6S with the taiwan gold stereo mini x2
2/ Canare L-4E6S with the REAN stereo mini x2

how does it sound? does it help widen the soundstage?

would really like to know the effects on the bass and mids and highs as well as the soundstage.

thanks in advance.

actually is quality different is on "how easy" you can solder a wire on it.
some bad design plug with bad material will require you to heat up so long before it can stick on wire.
sorry, wire to stick on it.
so
teorically, the longer you heat the wire, it should degrade your wire/insulator.
AFAIK, the taiwan gold plug and the rean is quite easy to solder on, same with F-12. but i cannot hear different amoung taiwan /REAN. but can hear different at F-12. don't know why, material different i suppose.
and
those other cheapo plug, i don't give a damn to use them. it's hard to solder on.
avarage time for me to solder a wire on a connector is always less than 1 seconds. and slightly more than 0.5 seconds i think.
for those china cheapo plug, probally u need to heat it like 3-6 seconds.. at that time, try to touch the wire nearby, u can get your finger painful.
while i solder my plugs, i prefer to keep my wire cool..=)

NOTICE

Dear fren, i might able to take order at 15 NOVEMBER 2006. however, it is NOT GURANTEED.
very much depent on when i can submit my final year project.
if i submit late, i will not be able to make it.
for those who interested, pls list your name here and the cable you want, PLS DO NOT PM me. any question will be answer here also
i will try to make it.
and PLS prepare the money for it too. if i going to make it, 15 NOVERMBER will be deadline of put ur name, and payment should be done at the same day / 16 november too.
then i can make it, hope to complete it within 20 november, i will go back sarawak BEFORE 28 november i think.
=)
PS: For your info, all F-12 still not available. if those who really want a stereo- RCA. u have to use taiwan case + REAN plug (which is not bad too). and wait F-12 got stock, then if u feel need to upgrade then u can upgrade urself, or ask ppl to solder the end for u.
price will be calculate later when i free.
and i WON"T take custom order. order should from the first page.. for me easy to work. thanks....
and BARE in mind, plugs is most expensive. don't ask me to make 1.5 meter or 1 meter because 2.0 meter is expensive. i can tell u price won't big different.
good luck pals. and wish me good luck in final year project + final exam...
thanks.
