QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Dec 22 2013, 09:43 PM) gila puas lyn track kt TU td...bukan senang nk lyn track 5 lane kt Malaysia ni Wah! Ade jugak eh.. X perasan.. although tk lps....tp PUAS !! Next week speed houz lak YEEEHHHAAA !! Toa cheng..apa bikin td? BTW, managed to do up to top 32 only last night at TU race. The car was quite subtle with the performance in earlier stages. Later the speed gone insane with the fresh Philips battery sponsored by TU. The car jumps straight to the spectators liao! Some pictas.. My car on the night before the race. Back to KLIMS 2013 setup. ![]() My friend's fresh Super II also for the race. ![]() He's already got a spot as he's the runner up in KLIMS 2013 stock car race. While waiting for Aci to do inspection on the top 64 cars. ![]() ![]() ![]() My car's battery clip snapped in one of the qualifying runs. That's why the car got taped all around.. Track layout.. Looks easy right? You won't know until you run your car in there.. ![]() Although didn't make it up to the higher level, it was a really fun race. Next week Speed Houz punya race tak dapat join. Got seminar somewhere in the jungle.. But my car will be there. Asked my friend to jockey the car for me.. This post has been edited by nk3371: Dec 23 2013, 01:42 PM |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Dec 23 2013, 05:04 PM) Our track here in Miri. WOAH! Very long technical track! Yesterday we had a technical race tournament, but I totally forgot to take picture of the whole layout The basic layout was similar only that we moved a few slopes and made more continuous jumps, and also added jump limiter too. My car already set up but didn't manage to race because I had gastric in the morning » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And it was jam packed here yesterday... this is only from inside the shop. QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Dec 29 2013, 12:01 AM) Hehe.....akhir jumpa gak owner kete cun ni Nice to meet you bro.. Event speed houz mmg TERBAIK !!......siap bg a few SC 99 free 4 all round use Then Jai open a few selected item at low price.....dyna hawk black special RM40....haha Respect to the everybody involve in event At 1st, my friend jockey the car for me, got gear problem.. I rush myself to the event, barai itu kereta, found out the counter gear (yellow one) rosak.. Lucky me I did bring spares, swap it, the I run the car myself for the rest of the event. Didn't have luck to get a spot in the top 32. The best was the car flung out of the track on it's 3rd lap in one of the time attack run. My friend grab a Proto Emperor Super II for RM40.00 that Jai lelong that day. Me? Free Tamiya windscreen sticker only.. Queue that day around 3pm I guess.. ![]() From far back, tooks almost 30 minutes until your turn.. Next, Speed Houz time attack. Current time is 11.96 with that Super II. Best time I think is still the 11.60 by Shah Pro. This post has been edited by nk3371: Dec 30 2013, 09:28 AM |

QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Dec 30 2013, 10:12 AM) hehe...sincerely, full respect to your car bro, instead of playing safe, u push ur car to max (bapak laju cam pelesit, landing just nice kt corner, meleleh)......mmg racer sejati Tried to play safe on my 3rd run. 1 a bit drained battery, 1 fresh new one..During my fifth try, only manage to reach final lane and suddenly at the first jump, PISANG !! But for me at least I learned a lot from this event, for competition, everything has to be new and tip tiop - shaft condition, rim/tyre, gear/pinion and all Good Luck bro....with ur car like that, confirm can achieve better time my frenz looking forward to play super speed mod for while, i guess have to join for a while The car goes so slow and bouncy until the battery clip tercabut.. That SuperII with that setup had to go fast baru tak bouncing around.. |

QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Jan 7 2014, 11:26 AM) Yup, that's the thing. Amir told me that Zul's car didn't look soo fast but landing n corner was smooth Sorry la Jai nk belanja. Mintak sponsor singget for time attack tryout pn kemut.. sape blanja, Jai ke ko? may the tamiya force be with u.....definitely can 1. using what motor anyway? hehe...been raining this past few nite For that 11.74, Power Dash with 3.5:1 gear. For the MS, Mach Dash with 3.5:1. QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Jan 7 2014, 12:30 PM) if u need info/example on how to setup for semi speed track using MS chassis....can refer to pic NK3371 posted above. Don't refer to my MS la.U can get rough idea upon tire/rim selection, roller setup, bumper (front & rear) n brake setup.....for moto (double shaft), u can start with Hypr Dash 1st Plus, it's easier if u go down to any local tamiya shop (Speed Houz I started with MS chassis. everything used stock parts then gradually improve/upgarde/modify accroding to budget n understanding. That is daredevil setup with minimum dampers used lor. Shown in the picture with 1 light damper at the back... |

QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Jan 7 2014, 02:52 PM) hahahahahaha...tauke kedai also save money ka.....wanna buy another ferrari I guess Maintenance tips ah? Wait until you see my kong-ed double shaft Hyper Dash collection. wow...mach dash ah.....wanna tune 1 thing and I find it hard to maintain mach dash, I've made 3 of my mach dash kong. Any tip in maintaining moto, Sifu nk3371? currently in the process fine tuning up hyper dash. My frenz made 1 and the speed!! ur MS la the best (salute our humble sifu), less the damper the better...the ultimate way to check the stability of the car, no need to mention the speed la I don't pretty much care about a motor lifespan. Yang penting pawer & reliable enough to compete in races. |

Just when I want to time my new MS last night at SpeedHouz (after a few stability check runs), their lap timer decided to die.
Tomorrow night pulak nak repeat. I'll bring my own lap timer this time. |
