QUOTE(bokbeng @ Feb 28 2014, 12:58 AM) Sanyo Eneloop has been very long in the market and being pioneered.Eneloop white can charge up to 1800 times and no memory effect. Eneloop XX can charge only up to 500 times and no memory effect. The bonus? More capacity than Eneloop white. Best of all, is value buy! |

QUOTE(shadow910512 @ Mar 4 2014, 12:06 PM) still not finished? No time. Have to work till night. what type of mass damper is that? such a clean look on it, no test on track yet? meanwhile my Avante That mass damper came from tamiya HIgh Grade parts AR chassis mass damper carbon plate. Currently there is no FRP installed. Only carbon plate. Haven't finish. Short of 13mm ring less rollers. Waiting for shipment today to arrive. It may look clean but internal has been given a good set of gears. Waiting for my mach dash pro to be break in to maximize its potential. No time track. Maybe build another one or two units then test it on track |

QUOTE(kayFX @ Mar 5 2014, 09:56 AM) 1) this one is personal preferences to me.. some say direct bearing is the fastest compare to rollers with bearing.. but if i remember correctly the diff sizes of roller give you the freedom of configuring your setup ie. wider roller at front & narrow at rear and vice versa.. each have its own advantages.. Okay, tonight have to re-do... Double rollers on the rear.2) thin tyres tend not to bounce more than standard tyre.. you only left 2 more rollers to put at rear.. and make sure u follow the official guidelines.. those 13mm roller should be on the second hole from outside iinm.. ![]() welcome Thanks |

QUOTE(kayFX @ Mar 6 2014, 11:04 PM) my only complain about tamiya parts are the new AO620 bearings.. even tho the packaging is made in japan but the bearing quality is not japan at all.. meanwhile the AO830 bearing is made in china but the quality is superb.. last time the AO620 built same as the 830 but now.. haih.. Then I rather go SKF bearing shop and purchase 830 bearings.. Unless Tamiya AO 830 bearing have laser print TAMIYA |

QUOTE(clowgod @ Mar 11 2014, 02:50 PM) the main point is the weight and power.. Neo Champ battery paling ringan sekali antara semua. dan tahan lama. QUOTE(iOnine @ Mar 11 2014, 02:50 PM) So best investment is NeoChamp and white Eneloop? Eneloop XX is not recommended? |

QUOTE(kayFX @ Mar 11 2014, 03:17 PM) put it this way, higher mAh doesn't mean powerful.. for speed race we always look for the lightest setup.. so lower capacity = lighter batt.. power output more or less almost the same since i don't see any C rating for these type of batt.. for RC batt they have C rating indicating power output.. higher C rate ie. 70C is punchier than a 50C rate batt.. we don't look for higher capacity (which is the mAh) for power.. and the more capacity it can hold the heavier the batt.. hope this help.. Based on your facts, is it good to invest in Sanyo eneloop white and tamiya NeoChamp? Do I need to get NeoChamp proprietary charger or can use Sanyo eneloop charger? |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Mar 11 2014, 11:00 PM) maha charger is seems to be the best consumer charger compared to GP or eneloop charger. highly recommended. But hardly seen Speed setup tracks in competition. Mostly are semi speed or technical tracks. Which is best bet?even the cheaper maha mh-c401fs charger has better charging than cheap RC balance chargers. if got budget go for the maha wizard one c9000 For speed .... Eneloop Lite or Neo Champ is always the people's choice. Save the normal Eneloop for semi-speeds or other type of races. Eneloop XX ,... no need. For speedlight use it's good... but not for Tamiya mini4wd. Btw can I use NeoChamp batteries on Sanyo eneloop charger? |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Mar 12 2014, 10:07 AM) If you have extra budget, can't go wrong with Neo Champ. Is eneloop (white) when fully charged rated 1.3v too?Otherwise just get the Eneloop Lite or normal Eneloop (white). Just don't bother about Eneloop XX (black). When playing with Tamiya, you don't need quantity (batt capacity, mAh), you need quality (actual reading voltage). Neo Champ out of the box normally reads more than 1.3v. Eneloop Lite also 1.3-ish. Usually those higher capacity NiMH would read almost near to 1.2v only. You can use the battery checker to confirm this. A common myth that people seem to believe is to use the same brand of charger as the battery brand. Reality is, any charger brand works for any rechargeable battery as long it supports the same type of battery (NiMH/NiCD/Alkaline, etc.) |
