did 3M Crystalline on my previous car, now new car but budget abit tight, dont think can go for the best, so need to settle for 2nd best. problem is, what is considered "second best"?

raytech/vkool/rhinepro/etc?
seems like sputter is the one to go for to avoid smartTAG issues

HRV - budget ~3k or less (if can include front ppf would be great but dreaming la)

As far as I'm aware, only 3M Crystalline series have issues with SmartTag. Most tints even with high IR stat are SmartTag compatible.

Ceramic tint like Horus provides a good balance between spec and price, but ceramic tint absorbs instead of reflecting sunlight, interior
will be hotter when the car is stationary.

Consider adding IrisPro and Hamel into your shopping list, reading through a bunch of post here a lot of people vouch for them

My current (soon to be old) car uses 3m Crystalline but no issues with smart tag tbh and good point with IrisPro and Hamel which I've been seeing alot more lately.

Haha, if you can't afford 3M Crystalline, you CANNOT afford VKool. That is for me the most effective but also the most premium priced metallic based tint.

Forget about VKool non Serendipity range aka VK REM, they are not 2nd best but going towards the much lower range. Used to be VKool user for decades but the price now are priced out from my budget liao.

Raytech also priced quite high even for 2nd best range (do note their best RX for FWS are also non smart tag friendly but other than RX, most are smart tag friendly). Unless you go for even lower range. Then not 2nd best liao. Ceramic based.

Other brands, I not familiar enuf to comment.

However I am using Irispro most premium DX 60/30 tints and Diamond 60 range tint for my cars. Mine are all small sedan aka old Civic FD (supposed to be midsize decades ago, now become small sedan size). That also already hit 3K. Their 3rd best (used to be 2nd best before DX range comes out) are bout 2.2K for sedan previously. All are using their proprietary titanium metallic sputter tint with Blue Light protection feature. If you are in Klang Valley and want to check Irispro out, can PM me to have a direct to a very friendly manager contact in Puchong and Klang branches, can go check out or nego if you want. Already installed 3 cars with them, she have to friendly to me..hahaha...

Right now got a really good deal for 3M Crystalline below 2.5k and the same for Raytech RX. I assume both are almost on par with each other?
Would be great to great to get a quote on IrisPro as well.
Now just need someone with Hamel contact hehe

I'm also looking low budget tinted.. anything to recommend below rm1k?

Reason after used recond zc33s for 3 month, its not feel really hot compare other car.. so dont want spent too much..

My other car setup:

xpel xr plus 70 ws, 55 fw, 15 rw - tser 52, 53 n 69
- still can feel hot for front windows but acceptable coz vlt is 55%.. rear windows superb coz vlt only 15%.. tser 69.. xpanas langsung... so always look for higher tser when compare with other tint brand/spec. The problem is budget tint below 1k does not privide this tser value.. so cant compare...

If no other recommend, then no choice.. will go for Hamel. i have good experience with my prev hamel platinum... so might go back to hamel coz result not much different compare more expensive tint... but this time might go for hamel signature...

Platinum good? IrisPro Elite seems to able to get a decent price after nego but can't decide between both now. IrisPro TESR much lower than Hamel though, and Hamel also have JPJ warranty 😅
