Hi guys, been using Huper Optik on my ride for 6 years+.
Going to remove the tinted and re-tint whole car again.
HO so far working fine for me, tho not perfect heat rejection. Thinking to give a try on 3M.
How about VKool Elite? I know Vkool perform much better than HO and 3M, how much the price range could be? Let say me ride is Peugeot 408. HO and 3M pricing around Rm2k.

Would it be advisable to apply tint of 90%vlt on front wind screen to be complient with jpj? I owns axia.

JPJ compliance:
Windscreen 70%
Front window 50%
Rear window 30%

The lower VLT% mean darker the tint. You can have higher than what JPJ specified.

how much does it cost to retint whole cx-5 (2018) with reasonably good IRR & TSER rating ya? budget about 1k can get with security film for side windows?

am thinking of going maybe 20% or 30% for side and rear.. 0% is quite ridiculous.. my as well put a cover over the side and rear windows already..

With the price Rm1k, you won't get decent quality tinted.
CX-5 need Rm2k for a decent tinted

May I ask what's the main difference between security tint (those mirror type?) and darker normal tint, other than privacy, as i think dark tint (considering now we can put on 0% for rear windows) also has privacy feature now.

Thinking to change all my rear windows with darker tint for my CX5 gen2. Any recommended/trusted shops around PJ with reasonable price?
*
Security film by mean is thicker film and harder to break the window by force, designed meant to prevent snatch theft.
Darker tint doesnt mean better heat rejection. Some film can be full black, but got no effect on heat rejection.

What is your requirement before you decide:
1) You need security film or just good heat rejection film
2) U wan heat rejection film or just simply dark tinted

recently tint my car and found these issues below:
kindly help me review as need go back find the shop and talk to them.

FWS - if looking outside the object, noticeable got a bit wavy across the windscreen
(is it tint film issue ? or poor workmanship ?)

Side window - got small small dot bubble, like got small tiny dust trap inside.
(this highly suspect poor workmanship, correct ?)

I have another car go for tint at different shop, but dont have such issue at all. And the price even more cheaper.

Go back and claim from the shop

Want to ask,
When I get my myvi,
The factory already paste the temper glass with very light shade...
Is it possible to overlap new tint on top of the existing temper glass?
*
Yes for side windows and rear windscreen.
No for front windscreen for safety purpose.

hello guys. need some advice on installing a new tinted on my car. I basically have zero clues on the specs. I just need tinted that can reduce the heat especially at the back for my kids. my budget kinda low for this. around 500-600 maybe. new persona btw.

I am not sure if Rm500-Rm600 tint does the work on heat rejection. A decent tinted for your size should range around Rm1200.
In my perspective, Rm500 tinted is just a gimmick to add a layer of color tinted on your window which does not have good heat rejection performance.
Just my thought, may not be correct.
