I've jz finished a tint job on my baby, and it looks F***ING DARK... When I was in the shop I saw a tint like 75%, it wasn't all that dark, in fact it looks JPJ passable at least. When I went to collect my car at night, damn, do I have trouble driving it.... It's a pain driving at night =_=.. Since its my first time doing tinted I learnt my lesson... I know its impossible to lighten a tinted... I have to peel it and re-tint my side and front window to 40%

QUOTE(Lord Gitsy @ Feb 8 2014, 12:54 PM) Hi bro, My driver side and passanger side have to change, cuz its too dark. Its 75% dark-tinted. Front I can see but my top side, I tinted too much. I paste a black sticker 10 inches wide. Need to reduce to 7 inch... Haiz... So I just change my front to 40% tint and side to also 40. Rear to 50%.1) If you wish the window film compliant with JPJ. a) Front Windscreen = above 70% VLT b) The rest window = above 50% VLT 2) If you can accept dark film, Non compliant with JPJ. But clear vision on day and night, and people can look into you. a) Front Windscreen = at least 50% VLT b) The rest window = Between 30% - 40% VLT. Window Film below 30% VLT is too dark at night. Hard to see clear on night vision. Be smart to choose your film. To solve your current problem, I may suggest you just change the front windscreen tint film to brighter film and see how the result. If the problem unsolved, then you change your rear windscreen tint film. If the problem still unsolved, then you can change another 4 doors tint film. |
