Hi Sifu,

Anyone can recommend which brand to go for Windscreen installation? just changed my windscreen ...original was Eco-tint, not bad but if there is better quality around the price range, i would give it a try smile.gif

Btw, may i know how much expecting for windscreen installation?
*
since it windscreen only, opt for the bestest quality one.

How is your huper optik?

I Chose sech60 for fws and c40 for rear/side.

I.chose ho because i use a lot of gps during traveling. So my priority is heat blocking ang gps usage.

I have my mpv tinted with vkool elite (whole car). Tinted in year 2008. Gps usage is very hard as the tint block the signal and i also has problem with smart tag.

Afraid of same thing happen again this time i chose ho for my next tint

After almost one week usage, Well, i would say that the heat blocking capacity is almost at par with vkool elite. (but vkool is better lah). And I barely feel the heat on my skin when sitting inside the car.

When i park my car under blazing sun and enter the cabin, start the car and on my aircond. With 5 to 10 minutes i could feel the air-cond coolness.

I didnot face any problem in using my gps which is very good. I am happy with the tint.

So. In conclusion Vkool > HO

If yall have extra money go.for vkool. Otherwise HO is perfect tint

If you all afraid of gps signal and smart tag signal chose HO

#I cannot comment on other brand as i dont have any experiences. As vkool seller said that vkool elite nowdays has no gps problem anymore. That also i cannot confirm as my vkool was year 2008

#make.sure.you all happy with you tint and what ever people said it will not affect your.decision of having that particular tint for you car being it vkool or ho.or raytech or 3m or others.

##Sorry using phone to write. Really hard.

i dont care about smarttag, i can slow down at toll booth or worst i can open my windows and stick out smarttag. the only thing important to me is the GPS.

from the reading i found that most of the

1. Vkool user has very good heat rejection and has GPS problem
2. HO user has average heat rejection and no GS problem
3. 3m user has good heat rejection and no GPS problem
4. Raytech has good heat rejection but has GPS problem
5. LLumar has good heat rejection but has GPS problem

Can some confirm this? if I'm wrong.

Can you describe the Vkool GPS problem more ?

I have been using Vkool Elite/REM40 for almost 4 months; no GPS issue from landed, parking lot (underground), and no issues with automatic gate
*
the review is mixed. some said no GPS problem, some said yes,

but as for me, i have problem is getting gps signal ( very slow detection) compare to my car using huper optic.

Im getting a new car soon...

After surveying Raytech,HO,3M and llumar

Raytech i got the cheapest, HO around 1.8k, 3m around 2.2

Quality or not idk... But im going with Raytech

All the brands i compare the same specs
*
which raytech series u get the cheapest quote?
3M you get 2.2 is for crystalline series which equal to raytech RC series.
