VKool Elite should not have any problem with 5G, GPS and Smart Tag. RFID yes, any high end metallic tints will interfere with RFID signal, heck, even placing RFID too near to car metal body or headlamp with lots of metallic based parts will interfere with RFID signal.

Carplay tho might have some problem with high end metallic based tint with very high IR rating but usually Android Auto runs ok on those. iPhone GPS signal when connected with carplay weaken a lot, read that it attributed to the way they split the GPS signal and wifi to Carplay.

Unless you hit dark tint on your front windscreen with super high IR rating, VKool Elite should work fine for Smart tag albeit a bit slower in detection sometime.

Hi, thanks for the information. I was offered this VKool Solitaire Series (VKool Solitaire URL). The IRER is around 80%. Does it consider very high?

Solitaire series is VKool Elite. Technically it is regarded as one of the best proven metallic based tints. Comes with especially high price tho unless you can get discount. Make sure to get from verified installers. There are counterfeit VKool out there.

However last time I installed decade ago, VKool Elite front windscreen can past smart tag. You need to check with installer again if the VKool 70 nowadays are same as VKool Elite of the past. If yes, then can pass smart tag, used on few cars. Only concern that the VKool Elite they used then are of different spec (initially they used something like VKool 75 Euro spec but might change afterword). Original VKool 70 do have issue with smart tag detection but not sure if they change composition within this 2 decades.

I used that Totalgard tint at my wife car, a local car, x70. Reason bought is due to spec offered, IRR, TSER and proven on meter not just saying only. And most due to price offered at rm1k and warranty covered for degradation if happen.

For 3 months using it, it performs quite well. Not feel hot at all during noon time.

But I reserved my review to check if it performs well on 2nd & 3rd year of usage.

Do you recommend Totalgard for a new SUV? Which line would you recommend?
Titanium Plus, Infusion Pro or Ceramic Plus? Thought of just taking the most expensive one but not sure if it is worth it

Mine is Infusion Pro series, it was their top of the line model back in 2020. So choose that. And I use non legal JPJ VLT for all windows.

Definitely recommended if looking for great heat rejection + affordable price
