Nothing has been officially announced yet. And base on the current progress, it doesn't look like the new law enforcement will be implemented any time soon. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi Lord Gitsy,

Can you suggest a good tint for my new CX5. Looking at Centurion RX 4mil. Preferably black with non shining. I was quoted 2950 after discount from SM Mazda. Is that the price for it?

Yes, very good tint around RM2000, though the cost price of these tint is actually around RM500. Profit is RM1500, yes it's huge but that is needed to pay the workers, the rent of the shophouse, electricity etc.

And for RM250 peanuts for tint, I guess it's only worth like cardboard paper, say RM25 worth of tint paper?

Bro, with RM200 for all windscreens, you are better off not doing anything since it's like sticking some dark transparent paper that will not do much or at all in filtering heat or any of the UV rays but making your car look darker from the outside only. Might be a better idea to buy the round sunshades that can be found in supermarkets and stick them onto the side windscreens.
