Does anyone where can i check my tinted Infrared and UV rejection in penang island or mainland?

Installed 3M Crystalline 50 but still feel very hot parked under the sun for 2-4hrs, not sure it is due to dark color car and dark color interior.

Normally if you park under the hot sun more than 1 hour, you feel hot is normal, because it is like a oven.
A good film will dissipate the heat very fast after you switch on the aircond, and also will reject most heat from outside when you are driving.

After we tint the film, we only can use BTU meter to check the solar heat rejection.
As long as you receive e warranty from 3M Malaysia, high possibility is genuine film.
If you want to 100% confirm, you can go to any 3M authorized dealer to check it.

Hi need an advise here. Is it all quality USA film is 4 mil thickness? My fren was quoted RM900++ by an accessory shop for USA film. 5 years warranty. IRR 88%. Is it ok? Brand unknown.

No point, wont be able to help much, especially when heat rejection or tinted film is not something you can prove clearly like something with figure. Even if they able to show you high rejection rate by using solar meter, how sure you are that the heat rejection you receiving now is same with 5 mins later?

In short, just dun get raytech. There are WAY TOO MANY complaints in this forum only, not to mention in real world friends. The film really sucks.

Rm900 better u get a brand name, even with local brand etc. Rather than accessories shop.
Different is after 2 years with the no brand tint, it will degrade fast

I installed the Groupon offered tint, back in 2013, coolmaster. Rm200, get irr 80% all around.

Tint was superb when it was new. Test it in Lumut Yard. But after 2 years, it similar like no tint at all.

Hi guys, how do you compare the aftersales service for big brands like Vcool, 3M and Llumar ? Which one is the better options for warranty claim?

Anyone have experience with Rhinepro black rescue series? Received a voucher for this tint. Looking for feedback from those who have used this tint before.

Hi guys,

A year plus, my car tinted with 3M crystalline series, was told is not smart tag friendly hence they leave a small hole for me to scan smart tag but lately I notice I’m able to scan smart tag all the time without even putting my smart tag at the small home.

Does it mean my FWS tint degraded ?

my FWS is crystalline70

Thanks

You are right. When the IRR rejection is no longer that high anymore it will be usable. Same goes to my tyre pressure monitor that uses sunlight to charge. Initially unable to charge after few years can be charge when the tint degrade

Receive raytech 350 voucher, and can only afford their rm800 ori price tint.

Without voucher they can give rm200 discount = rm600

With voucher, they deduct 350, then only further discount rm50= rm400

hmm thanks, I wonder is this kind of degrading is under warranty or just expected normal wear and tear ?
