QUOTE 3k budged with FHD is kinda hard to find... + SSD which is quite expensive
MSI GP60-2OD-259MY, i5-4200M + Nvidia GT740M + (1920x1080; anti-glare)@RM2699, 4GB, 750GB, W8, steel series KB GP60-2OD-034MY, i7-4700MQ + Nvidia GT740M + (1920x1080; anti-glare)@RM2999, 4GB, 750GB, W8, steel series KB
@pandera999 thanks! if i extend my budget to 3500? will there be better options? for those two, i can just add SSD to them? or will i need to replace the current HDD inside? also, will i find these models in lowyat? planning to go there this weekend. many thanks

QUOTE for your usage, i dont think you need very powerful ones, so this one might suit you :
Acer V7-582PG-74508G52k, i7-4500U + Nvidia GT750M + 24GB mSATA + 500GB HDD + (1920x1080 IPS; touch)@RM3399[2.2kg], 8GB, W8
take note - the mSATA is SSD but it is used as a cache drive. if you want SSD preloaded :
Acer V7-582PG-74501225k, i7-4500U + Nvidia GT750M + 256GB SSD + (1920x1080 IPS; touch)@RM3999[2.2kg], 12GB, W8.1
and a question, your 'light gaming' refers to what title of games?
@raymondtong94 thanks! Light gaming - no specific games in my mind now, but maybe will try some newly released games in MID setting mode, Those 2 are good but it's over my budget. Also for Acer V7-582PG-74501225k, would it be possible to add another HDD? thanks!

QUOTE not possible, because there is no DVD drive, where you can buy a DVD-HDD converter bay to expand your storage.
i see. thanks! can you suggest other model that can have both SSD and HDD at the same time? not sure if as long as a laptop have dvd drive, it can always be converted as hdd bay..

@pandera999 QUOTE if u willing to spend more on extra SSD+HDD, Illegear will be the best choice.. which is multimedia/gaming series notebook too.. much more expensive..
i would like to stick to my budget. btw, the hybrid hard disk, would the performance be almost the same as the SSD? also this model can be easily found in lowyat? QUOTE GP60-2OD-034MY, i7-4700MQ + Nvidia GT740M + (1920x1080; anti-glare)@RM2999, 4GB, 750GB, W8, steel series KB
