Good evening ladies and gentlemen, here's my criteria.

1. Preferred Brand : ASUS , Lenovo, DELL, MSI
2. Budget : Less than or equal to RM2k.
3. Usage : Presentation, Internet browsing, Watching videos, Word processing, Light Dota 2 and TF2 gaming
4. Preferred laptop/screen size 14 inches to 15.6 inches, long battery life and num pad would be a plus.

Thank you. notworthy.gif

If you want numpad ur better off with the 15.6 inches

Asus
X552CL-SX104D/105D, i5-3337U + Nvidia GT710M@RM1799[2.3kg], 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS; 1 year warranty, colors: black/white
A550CC-XX530H, i5-3337U + Nvidia GT720M@RM2099[2kg], 4GB, 750GB, W8; colors: black/red/white

Dell
Inspiron 15R, i5-4200U + AMD HD8670M @RM1999[2.32kg], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm), Linux, 65WHr; W8SL@RM2199

Lenovo
S510p, i5-4200U + Nvidia GT720M@RM1849[2.4kg], 4GB, 500GB, DOS

*Prices negotiable based on seller, not fixed

What if 14" but without numpad ? Got Windows 7 Option? I tried windows 8 before...but somehow it doesn't feel right.

Maybe due to most of my windows computer are using Win 7 OS

vs

Dell
Inspiron 15R, i5-4200U + AMD HD8670M @RM1999[2.32kg], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm), Linux, 65WHr; W8SL@RM2199

Nowadays all new laptop comes preloaded with win8.
If u want 7 u have to install urself but make sure got driver for the laptop first if not gg haha smile.gif

Among those two picks depends on what u want to do with it. Gaming go for asus (nvidia graphics win amd in the long run). Work intensive dell 15r (better proc)

Got 8.1 ? tongue.gif

nVidia better than AMD ? hmm.gif

I'm back, but this time is with a twist. My budget is not fixed anymore, it's the lower the price the better.

1. Preferred Brand: Any brand that is reliable and have good customer service/after sales support/warranty. This is very important!
2. Budget: Lower the better.
3. Usage: Student usage, word processing, presentation, watching videos, skype, internet browsing
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14"
5. Other requirements: Again, I need it to be reliable and lasting. Need to test before using mainly the keyboard and touchpad to see if it feels right. Also I need a Windows based laptop.

Are laptops with i3-3217U any good ? hmm.gif IGP will do since not gaming, I've a desktop for that anyway laugh.gif

Inspiron 14 are very common notebooks, shouldn't be a problem to find any in Digital Mall/LYP or any other large computer stores nod.gif
Although the specs may differ, the notebook "shell" is the same  icon_rolleyes.gif
