No problem man, glad to be able to help icon_rolleyes.gif
Y510p with GT750M is an older generation one.. I suppose you can consider also if the price is right (cheaper than the one recommended to you with GT755M) haha laugh.gif
Well, if you need to leave your softwares for them to render or calculate stuffs, then its considered as intensive I guess haha laugh.gif

hmm then how can i know whether the seller is selling me the older or newer gen leh rclxub.gif don't want kena scam later sad.gif
yea i figure i will go for y510p.. msi macam susah want find biggrin.gif

Older generations runs on Nvidia GT750M graphic card (the notebook should be RM2999 or lower). The most recent one runs on Nvidia GT755M icon_rolleyes.gif

FullHD notebooks from Asus and Lenovo are more than RM3k, you'll need to fork out at least RM3.5k unfortunately sad.gif

Otherwise, Pretty much these two I guess:
15.6"
Acer
R7-571-53338G1T, i5-3337U + Intel HD4000+ (1920x1080 IPS; touch)@RM2999[2.4kg], 8GB, 1TB, W8

MSI GE60-2OC, i5-4200M + Nvidia GT750M(GDDR5) + (1920x1080; anti-glare)@RM3099,8GB, 750GB(7200rpm), W8, steel series KB

The Acer has a better screen, but the MSI is way, way powerful in specs (also capable of gaming).
*Prices in RRP, negotiable

Hi thank's for your recommendations. What if do not require fullHD anymore. Any other suggestion? TQ

For the Dell Inspiron 14R, warranty support is of top priority to me (otherwise no point getting Dell nod.gif), so I'd opt for the i5 variant suggested by nexus sifu instead, use remaining budget to extend warranty to 3 years and upgrading the RAM nod.gif Upgrade further to SSD after 1 year or 2 when the HDD slows down significantly nod.gif

Same goes to the Lenovo Z400 touch nod.gif

The Dell is better in terms of after sales service whereas the Lenovo has a better CPU icon_rolleyes.gif

What other gaming laptops are recommended besides the Alienware 14? It's about RM4599.

Apple is better, since you could always bootcamp to get the best of both worlds + Apple is more efficient when it comes to Photo and video editing laugh.gif
But make sure you have lots of RAM and space (and money in your pocket)! laugh.gif

However, if you are not interested in using Mac OSX, then the XPS15 will suffice. Just swap the hybrid HDD with a 512GB SSD and you will still be spending less than on the Apple units aforementioned

Regardless of what you choose in the end, do make sure you extend warranty to 3 years.. machines like this will cost a bomb when they break down laugh.gif
