Finally my battery died on me last night after I stopped to fill up petrol on my way back from Segamat to KL. Mileage was about 45k km, 1ye 2mths. It was the Yoko battery. Changed it at outside workshop last night, was quite pricey coz emergency case and no other workshop. Was open at that time. He charged me rm350 for a Century battery+labor. Doesnt even know whether correct spec or not coz he gave me an N55L battery, original Yoko was N66L. but the car starts fine now..

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Dec 14 2013, 11:17 AM) The replacement battery under warranty by Nasim is Delkor Din55 for 408. I guess your Century battery's spec should be okay. Thanks for the info. My mind is at ease now. Only one more thing, the radiator fan isnt working this morning when I started my car to check up on it. Will try to drive around for a while and monitor further. If its still not working I'll send to SC. No alarms came up tho. Edit: rad fan is working now after driving the car aroubd and engine warms up. Did you change to the same size tyres? The 408t's 225/45 is not really a common size for a 17". So it should be a bit expensive than the more common sizes taking into account same brand n model

QUOTE(a-hp @ Apr 2 2014, 02:58 PM) good point! I rather ask than make any comment on something that I'm not sure. thanks a bunch. a question thrown to me moments ago that I don't have the answer as I did not think about it before : what kind of clutch does the 408 NA uses - single or dual and wet or dry? my friend, please enlighten me. Single or dual refers to the clutch for an automated manual tranny right? I think our 408s uses a conventional torque converter auto box, not an automated manual tranny, so theres technically no clutch.

Great video on thetorque converter. But I still would say its still mechanically a conventional auto box, not an automated manual.

Idk, but I'm using 235/45/17 on my stock 408t rims, looks a bit fat

QUOTE(mna_1402 @ May 25 2014, 07:14 AM) Btw, whats the conclusion to the previous discussion on wiper blade length? Is it really better to change to 28 + 28 or just maintain original length? Hope fellow forumers can enlighten. I just ordered a pair of 28" wipers from Amazon UK, will arrive in about 2 weeks time. I'll give some input then. Anyone got any ideas on brakepads for the 408T, which make & model of aftermarket or OEM? I've already got info on the brakepads for 308T but I'm not sure whether its a perfect fit for the 408T or not..

Yea the clip type is the same as the 308, but T7 is the generation code for the 308. The clip type is top push button or something like that. Got info here: http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/fitting-guide...t-wiper-blades/Or u can get the bosch multiclip adapter type, can fit most clip types other than the usual hook.
