Hi guys..... Need some advice from you all... I'm torn between 408T and civic 2.0 dont know which one to choose.

How did you know battery was weak. Mine had no signs,only found out after a battery check. By that time it was 13th month,warranty over. Made the mistake of changing it at SC,cost $500. My tyre shop could have changed it for $300/-

I admit and agree, it is DAMN good for a 1.6cc car.

But can anybody explain why the Focus's 0-100km/h time is at the sub 8 seconds and the 408T is sub 9 seconds???

Really thank you for all the feedback and opinions. Hope to hear more from others though. To me, i give more points to the driving experience (i.e performance). Hence, im asking owners of their opinions in the 408T's performance over other cars.

BTW, just to share. Tested the 208GTi. AMAZING!!!!! In my list as well. But drawback is manual, small car, doesnt carry the matured stable business look. But its damn SHIOK to drive. Test drove until my ketiak also sweating. LOL.

Guys’ just wanna check with you all, when moved to 3rd gear, will it like it will drop another 200 rpm before picking up again? Let’s say 2300 change to 3rd gear, drop 500rpm then when going up the rpm, it will drop another 200 rpm..

The feeling is like having another gear change..
Let's say now running 2nd gear, reached 2300rpm, it will then engage to 3rd gear n normally drop 500 rpm.. Then just when it is picking up rpm, it drops another 200 rpm to 1600 rpm before continue to pick up rpm.. I didn't lift my leg of the accelerator..
it's like slip clutch feeling.. Not sure if it is normal, might ask service center on 20k service on March

I saw somewhere before that this is normal, there is a (inter/ mid gear?!) In between gear 2 and 3.

Yes bro this is normal. I'm silent cos I don't have an explanation for easy understanding. It's to do with attained speed Vs gear ratios.

Does anyone applirs Rain-X or any water repellant on your 408 windscreen?

I read that visibility is made worst during raining due to the poor conversion of the windscreen wipers. The water repellant may help to improve visibility, imo.

Any other recommended place besides ENEOS 1U???

I did talk with the supplier.
Shade for 408 is in process, it is in the testing phase in fact.
will be base on their new design.
However, they not willing to reveal the rough price range and date.

this is the 2013 deluxe version, it comes with rear LED lights and front projector headlights.

Pricing .. 4-5K to convert both front and back.

china already has the facelifted version lor. their 2.0 is already 6 speed auto unlike ours with 4 speed auto. but at the current price, our 2.0 is sill pretty good value for money.

their deluxe version is 2.0L, no THP engine. The exhaust diameter may be different .
