Actually how much does this 5year free service worth? Figures going round are 5k,7k,8k and 10k.

5  years service for 508 is rm7815 (taken from http://www.kensomuse.com/the-peugeot-508-quality-time/).

Bought from Kota Damansara Peugeot showroom. It was the test drive unit - 6 months old. I guess some members here have driven the car before Bought for 100k excluding insurance and tinting. 5 years warranty on parts only.

I signed the manual and warranty booklet, but the name written there is the dealership's name. The SA told me that that is all I need to do, for warranty to be transferred to me. Can anyone please share your knowledge on this?

Dear 408T owner,

I facing some fuel consumption issued, last month my 408T RM50 petrol (petrol 95) only can run around 130KM, 2 weeks ago I had sent my car to SC and highlight about this issued, after SC checking and they help me reset and Diagnos Engine.

However the new fuel consumption record only can run around 320KM with petrol RM100 (Petrol 95) with full city drive.

Can anyone share with me my fuel consumption record is it reasonable?

about the battery kong issue and third brake lamp issue have been fixed for new batch of 408T ?

I bought 408 model NA on August 2012. Previously has issue with the battery (Yokohama brand) only last 10 months & Peugeot replace with Delkor brand for free on May 2013.

Now the battery dead again without any initial warning & this time lasted only 12 months. I've tried to call Peugeot service but they told me that they have nobody technician can attend outside on Saturday. Furthermore, the car already exceed 1 year old, so no battery replacement warranty which is understandable.

Now I'm trying Bosch brand for the battery & hope it would last longer. Is it normal car battery dies within 1 year? I thought this battery with maintenance free could last until 2 years..

I did confirm with the insurance co,  Amassurance all the 4 side  windows.  But not sure if it exclude the small one. I need to find out the cost before calling the insurance co to confirm.
