I have a 408T, my car failed on me this morning. I started up my car, travelled less than 50 meters, felt the car started to loose power and died in the middle of the road when the engine was still running. (could have been tragic). My car is less than 3 months old and mileage is at 2480. I don't know whether it is problem with the batteries. Will check with service centre.

This morning, I'm supposed to send my car for 2500 inspection but this happened. However, I felt the power lost the night before yesterday. When I stepped on the accelerator, the engine did not respond. (Kind of like power loss).

Called the Peugeot care line, the towing panel called me within 15 minutes and told me tow will arrive in 1 hour. 20 minutes later, tow truck driver called me but mentioned that he got delay due to "Ada masalah". It has been 1 hour since my car failed and I have still yet to get to the service centre.

Update: apparently the tow truck that is supposed to get to me aide burst his tyre. (Tow truck needing a tow now).
The towing panel is sending another tow truck over.

1. Very disappointed with Peugeot. (Battery can't even last for 3 months?!) very sickening
2. Tow services could have been better
3. Disappointed. No longer feel proud of driving this car.

Yeah, the funny thing is the car was able to start at first and then it just lose power and died. Tow truck should be here soon.

Something in the engine must have failed as my car lost power all out of a sudden. I wished it was no petrol.. Things would have been simple.. Now I will document the entire process.

Update: service advisor has confirmed that this is not related to the battery. My car is still in queue for diagnosis.

Update: After diagnosis, service advisor informed me that it is due to fuel pump jam. Fuel from storage not able to reach engine, causing the engine to die.

They informed me that this will take a day to fix, can collect the car tomorrow morning at 11am. We'll see if they stick to their promise.

Just reporting that I have a bad experience with Glenmarie SC. (SA - Azhari). My car broke down suddenly after starting last week, towed to glenmarie to diagnose. They inform me is fuel pump related problem.

I also asked them to fix my rattling noise coming from the left side of my car, he told me its fixed. (Apparently not).

In overall, I made calls to his mobile to check up on my car - never pick up. Call to SC and transfer to him - always engaged. Leave message to call back, never did. I will report to the management after CNY when I send my car to fix the rattling noise. Shame on the SA, like don't bother. We paid 120k+ for the car.

How does the 500km or 2 weeks apply for service?
I called and book for my 10k service 1 month ago (odo almost 10k), I got scheduled for a service 1 month later. But now my odo is at 11k++

What does this mean and how does it apply to the 500km or 2 weeks clause?

Do I need to pay for me 10k service?
