Yesterday night, my car's ABS & ESP warning signs came out. I was in a middle of a jam when these 2 signs suddenly came out. I kept on driving about 5km where i can stop the car and switch off the engine. After waiting for about a min., i started the engine again, the warning signs did not appear anymore?? It also did not appear in this morning till now. I'm curious what triggers the ABS & ESP warning signs. Anyone here encounter this problem before?

QUOTE(robinyan @ Dec 25 2013, 11:46 AM) If you are still worried, you may setup an appointment with the SC and get them diagnose it using the PPS system. The 'fault code' should appeared in the PPS report during diagnosis. It didn't trigger anymore till today. I'm not worry anymore.

QUOTE(eusened @ Jan 3 2014, 01:43 PM) I will turn off everything before turning of the engine. Reason being: it will drain more battery when you start your car while everything is on. including radio Me too, will turn off everything including the auto beam.

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Apr 14 2014, 09:40 PM) this is bad inventory management. previously i was asked to wait for a month (longest) for the temperature sensor....faster, if lucky is one week. So just pray hard that your temp sensor doesn't give you problem. Else one week without car. Unless you have spare cars. My temperature gauge fluctuate between 90 degree and max yesterday. This morning seems to be normal at 90 degree. Hope it won't happen again.

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Apr 15 2014, 01:57 PM) Even you had a spike of abnormal temperature reading, you might not even get to get that part changed under warranty. I was told @ CSL sc.... in order to have the temperature sensor changed under warranty, the temperature reading needs to be abnormal/above 100 and need to be recorded at the SC. On your next service, you may highlight this issue and see what they say. Hopefully the ECU keeps a record on abnormal temperature. If I got time later this afternoon, I will go to CSL and see what they say.

QUOTE(Newbie838 @ Apr 16 2014, 09:44 AM) Does it sound like some kind of knocking sound from the suspension? Mine started making noise from both front and rear. It's like I can hear every bump the suspension picks up, especially when I drive over the newly patched rough roads, I get continuous knocking sound from the suspension. Wasn't there till 2 weeks ago. Gonna send back to SC next week or so. My car also got knocking sound from front suspension earlier. The SC claim it for me and got it changed last 2 months. But the waiting period for the stock was almost 6 weeks.

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Apr 23 2014, 06:45 PM) I am thinking to change Asy 2 also. How much u got? Tearing between Asy 2 and PS3 Hin Leong (Klang) quoted me RM530/pc without alignment. Hua Hin (Sg. Besi) quoted me RM550/pc with alignment. I go for Hua Hin, nearer to me.

QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Apr 27 2014, 05:55 PM) Hi Guys, By the way...rim damage/scratch, how to repair?? And where ya?? Usually how much it cost for my kind of scratch?? Thanks guys Most Tyre shop can sent to third party to repair the rim and trim the edge of the rim. The Tyre stop that I went charged me RM80 per rim. I think they over charged. You can try ask around.

QUOTE(Newbie838 @ May 8 2014, 12:42 AM) I'm looking to do the same but can't find any. There is a shop very near to Tesco Puchong. I forgotten the shop name. They specialize on leather seat wrap. They do a lot for T & H new cars.

QUOTE(Newbie838 @ May 8 2014, 11:10 AM) From the outside is it obvious what they do? I can do a drive by one of these days to look for it. Never had a car without leather/poly seat cover, so my habits of taking care of fabric seats is a bit lax. Yes, very obvious. They occupied 2 shoplots. The road is Jalan Bandar 14.
I suspect the problem is with your brake caliper. It's not serious, you might want to check it out with a workshop outside. Spraying WD40 on the calipers helps, but may be temporary. Sometimes SC too lazy to solve problems if not serious!
hi sifu been quoted 500+ for battery replacement for 308thp...is the size same as 408thp? advisable to change outside?
Change outside,only $300.
Will it be dangerous spraying WD40 near to the brake pads? Afraid it will penetrate to the brake pads or the dics..
