QUOTE(SKYjack @ Dec 6 2013, 11:56 AM) High press fuel pump has been an issue with Prince engine. There has been numerous complaints. On EP6CDTM,HPF pump has been modified to cope with lower grade fuel and a additional fuel filter has been included. I think this may be an isolated case. Anyway good to keep an eye. Tq An eagle eye. Does vibration on our engine is a sign of this issue? Any other symptoms? HPFP covered under warranty. But how long? I believe It's wear n tear part. |

QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Apr 23 2014, 02:11 PM) http://www.centuryauto.com.my/century-assist.php Noted. Thanks bro.1-800-BATTERY (22-88379) DIN 55 price last 2 month ago was RM290 for my case, but some folks got it cheaper ...........finally after few hours here n there... drive in to Lim Tayar Selayang. Replaced the battery with Century battery RM280. They keep the engine on, disconnect the battery, and engine standing still, put the new battery. (Is this mean that my alternator in healthy condition?) Stock battery yokohama served me 1yr 5mth, mileage 41450km. This post has been edited by RON408: Apr 23 2014, 03:48 PM |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Jun 15 2014, 12:14 PM) I am very surprised by your question. Do you think your engine needs a decarb job. What is your mileage? Just clock to 47k. Touch wood... mine run healthy. Just curious to know more about our DI engine vs. carbon built up. #post 2173 https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2682291/+2173 Read on previous post that our engine has tested up to >60k without carbon built up. But do we need such a precaution/alternative maintenance on it ? This post has been edited by RON408: Jun 16 2014, 01:12 AM |
