This car have software comparability issues with Apple. Instead of using phone connection, try used audio stream.

Here is some instructions could help you.

First you have to pair the HP <- kindly refer your manual.

After paring
1. Press menu button
2. Choose Bluetooth
3. Choose connect.
4. Audio Stream
5. Press ok

It take about 8 sec to complete the paring.

I think I am the first who encounter this problem. But my is during when drive to Genting, in the more then half way to Genting, the car sudden stop. At first and second it look like petrol pump problem or the fan problem. But also without error. But after changing the battery from Century to Delkor, the problem fix. Now I been to Genting few times with no problem. According to SC, they said all computerized stuff are power up by the battery and not by the dynamo. So you really need a good battery for all continental car. Also the first sign or the battery weak is showing the "ESP" light on. Maybe after you change the battery you can drive up to Genting to try on, cause the weather there is cold in high attitude and climbing hill all the way which continue suck the battery.

I think so far 408 sales progress are quite good. I see more and more car on the road. Can easily spotted compare to last 3 month. Hope Nasim will not trow more price to get buyer. This will also effected the current owner. For new user, of course the cheaper is a good news. But so far compare to other same segment of the car, this consider a reasonable price.

Wow. you got so many goodies.... Nice man.. I wonder where can get their t-shirt and rubber mats..? The worst part of the car is the rubber mats, I don't why the original rubber mats was so small. My mum tell me the steal from Peugeot 308 or 208.. Hahahaha

Yeah, I ketuk him, he said the whole office don't have. Normally only available in road show. Yeah, I saw that in One Utama.. But really limited of size.

Regarding about the changing battery, I do ask the SC in CSL technician. He actually is the head of technician. He said not much skill required, just make sure the right voltage are input else the circuit board will blow away and it cost RM300++. There no need to turn on the engine while changing battery (Yes is true, cause I see him change my battery). The only thing which not running well is the date and time, this can be done by reset back the time. (Please check your manual on reset the time). Other work as normal. Peugeot create this gimmick is just for $$.

Regarding about the battery brand and quality, actually almost pretty much the same unless you know the person inside. Most in the market battery are OEM, they arrive here only put label which include famous brand (I think you should know why). Regarding the quality, yes is have been drop tremendously due to raw material increase. All this info are from my sister-in-law which one of the OEM company. Normally I get battery from her many year, so far no problem and last a very long time for my old car 2-4 year. But so far I have not yet test with Peugeot 408 as my battery still under warranty. So i have no reason to go back there to change.

Never less, I think reliable and maintaining should be put into consideration when you purchase a car.

I mean generally that is conderation before buy a car. But in this case, I am refer Jetta. My colleague have a Jetta less then a year. He really having nightmare since day one taken the car until now. Been repeatly send to workshop month after month. Now like bottle neck and need to sell out the car for only less then RM98,000 yet no buyer. But out there, there are many people who hate W. Someone actually have the time to poke them out due to warranty issues. Cause most of them really got warranty void problem.

Because of this reason, W is out of my selection list before I get Peugeot 408. Regarding the Mazda 3, the reason not on my list it because of CBU and over my budget. I worry getting the part later. Usually I think most of will do is try to google it and identified the problem. It took me more then a year of survey before getting this car. It's expensive toy to me and this will last me another 10 year before thinking to change new car.

Well this is heard from my friends which is from zerotohundread club member and also a racer. The only reliable German brand is Mercedes which have bring the entire reputation on German technology, other like BMW and etc. Tt just problematic car. That the reason you still see old Mercedes still. Sometime, we can forget the resale value of the car if the car did not give you a problem. But if a good resale value, I am pretty sure there is are reason why they are. My colleague have a same though German product at first, but after having it below are the concern :-

1. Car not usable for more then half year, still don't know how long it need to be continue like this.
2. Buying second car.
2. Need to pay 2 installment.
3. If sell of the Jetta, he going to lost RM50,000 at least. But anyhow, he have decide to sell it. A smaller pain rather a big pain later.
4. Need to find buyer. As you know this have been spread out trough the news. Very hard to find buyer.
5. Warranty have been void.
6. Problem have not been solve. Therefore is difficult to give a test drive for the buyer.
7. Maintain getting higher. Due to car have problem, he always to do test drive after each repair.
8. Cannot go outstation.
and etc.

Regarding the spare parts of any car. I usually get my parts from Jalan Ipoh, opposite of Nissan Tan Chong HQ. So far they give me a very reasonable price and I know them more then 20 years. They only sell part or distributor, they did not have technician to fix for you. The boss are quite generous also, he always advise me on the product which is reasonable good and safe money. Last few day I just hang around with the boss, the boss said my this car 408T is quite reliable. Normally the wear and tears stuff only begin after 4 year. If your car don't have free service or warranty over, I can recommended using NGK Platinum spark plug, it can increase your car power and safe more petrol. Last time I test with my old car, it can safe at least 40KM to 50KM each tank. Normally I just change a good spark plug and steal filter air intake. For car battery, if you want. I can inquiry for my from my sister-in-law which is an OEM manufacture also. The shop is in Danau Kota Setapak. I have a friends also doing car lamination, I think this is better then those do a Teflon undercoat. Cause i see my friends do a lot of high end car like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Meserati and etc. Maybe you should ask around the price then you can compare.

One of my reason I getting Peugeot is due to my brother in Singapore have a older version 406 which still running. According to him it a thought car, only things keep him worry is the spoiler which original make of carbon fiber and people just steal it. The spoiler really expensive and cost SG800. Due to my brother always drive in high speed between Singapore and Mersing Johor, this really important to him. Now a day you hardly to get a high quality spoiler which is made of Carbon fiber. I thinking to get 1 too after I have clear up with my warranty period.


FYI info, you can get more part in Singapore include the old version and probably cheaper. But I am happy that more car on the market mean more part will be available soon.

Actually I not very sure of the rules, I need to check with them upcoming SC. At first I wanted to fix the gear lock and then only the spoiler. You have fix it?

Sorry, is actually the brake lock and the fuel paddle lock. This is the most easier way of lock way my car by just pulling it and it lock. The stuff are install bottom of the steering and it permanent stay there if I not mistaken. This security have 2 function. 1 lock you brake and fuel paddle and also can disable your key ignition. If you fail to unlock the security lock by key, you won't be able to start your car also. Hopefully this clear
