i found the first few seconds plus the tapping part thanks to plankton.

Anyway I downloaded a program that slows down songs without altering the pitch, you should give it a try. When I tab, I would put on earphones and keep looping a part, but I never tab a shred lick before lol.

why you need program?
windows media player does that just fine.
slows down to min 1/2 speed without altering pitch.
thats what i used anyway for this.
