A few rounds around the block with some braking would normally take them off....

Just found out these scratches just now during car-wash.
It still haven't reach 1 month old yet cry.gif

Top 3 pictures; situated right above left tyre.
Bottom; Rear bumper

Mostly all these could be treated with the use of touch-up paint, right?

But I couldn't find the color code for my car at the site; [Soft Lilac - 204] rclxub.gif
Went back from Tesco too, no luck.

Try going to a bodyshop paint supplier and ask them to mix the colour to match you cars paint. A small (around 250ml) can of paint (which is A LOT for touching up use) would cost you around RM20 ~ RM30 or so....

Erm, good idea. But my small town here not sure have or not. Will still look around. Thx!

Just went back from the authorized dealer bodypaint workshop, they do provide touch up but
"Sorry Sir, we don't have your car color code, even the system doesn't have the list yet."
Drive out sadly.

there should be a color code on your car chassis? should be able to go direct to the manufacturer/paint supplier too.
*
Ops, ps. What I meant is they don't have the paint for my color code.
It's 0204 - soft lilac

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Feb 20 2014, 04:56 PM)
Kr0ll3R Did you mention anything about the age of your car? (sorry...malas to scroll back...)
Quazacolt I still prefer going to a paint supplier and ask them to mix a MATCHING colour.
To relate to my question to Kr0ll3R, paint pigment would 'change colour' over time. A colour code would be useful for the initial colour identification, then the paint supplier should MATCH it with the actual colour of your car by further mixing.

You should touch up the area, especially on the metal panel, to prevent from metal rusting. Even though it does not look good, it does serve its purpose, which is rust prevention.

ya, that guy said left Primer layer only, won't rust yet but with no protection.
Will find the paint and fix it a.s.a.p.

While digging on the web, found this

laugh.gif dunno real or not, but if it's true, useful on those light scratches at the door handles.
RM20 include postage. biggrin.gif

Guys, scoutfai Quazacolt KrisMas
Regarding my case that I posted before at #1074

Bought the EZY touchup paint already, I would like to ask, after washing & drying up the area,
Can/Should I apply the Turtlewax Scratch & Swirl beforehand or straight apply EZY touchup paint following their steps provided?

Aside from that, just curious
QUOTE
I would like to ask if a light scratch happened on a car surface, where we see a white color along the scratches,
it damage the clear-coat layer only?
If we apply the scratch remover (i.e scratchX 2.0/turtlewax scratch&swirl remover), it evens out the surface layer or apply a thin
layer of coat onto it?
