First step to conserve water without sacrificing the cleanliness of your car....use a pressure washer. It consume far less water than normal garden hose. Not to mention it could also clean your tyres, wheel wells and the underbody far more effectively than using normal hose+chemicals+brush.

scoutfai I do have some rinseless in my stash...but they're my personal ones and not for sale....hehehe....sorry, DG rinseless aren't in my friend's list also....

Never tried using a pressure washer before. Lesson learnt. Thought it going to use more water since from outside looking it seems flowing more water out of the noozle at high speed.

But PW not cheap leh. So many type in the market, different pressure and power rating. What type would be a good one for car enthusiast?

I got the same bottle (RM 40 or 50++) but never modified it like you did. Did not venture further since I got a real one from Ebay to fit on my pressure washer.

Maybe insufficient soap dilution or air? Soap mixture too dilute? Ever tried just using concentrated soap with the highest mixture ratio to see if foam is produced?
*
So you bought the same bottle with crashhog, his one didn't work, does yours one works?

I am curious about the internal component of foam gun. Is it possible to dismantle your machine and show some internal components pic? Do not really understand how it produces foam.

You can find the Gilmore foam gun/foamaster at Osren or Duragloss Malaysia. Those are the two places that I know of that sells them.

I thought OSREN was carrying the one that needs an air compressor machine to operate? I am asking about the one that runs on normal garden hose one oh.

May I know are you straight purchase from USA?
You have mentioned shipping cost is as expensive as product. Did you use the shipment service provided by the seller/shop or you acquire a 3rd party freight forwarder to do it (heard that it is cheaper but disadvantage is need to wait as they collect bulk quantity to ship at once).

Btw, did you get tax and how much?

You are referring to the KIT brand readily available in TESCO GIANT AEON store right?
if that is right, I will think is Turtle Wax. But this is such a arbitrarily statement. Accurate one will be after doing a side by side comparison. I state so from my feeling because from an article I read, top 3 brands of car care product in USA in term of market % : Meguiar's, Turtle Wax, Armor All.
KIT is it local brand?
But local doesn't mean not good, look at OSREN.

But one thing I dislike about KIT is product information too little. So very hard to tell whether their wax is cleaner wax, pure wax, or synthetic wax.

I went to Osren last week and asked about the Foam Gun that connects to a regular garden hose. They don't have it.

I have exactly the same products in my shelf !! But mine is paste wax.
Been using the Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax for some weeks already, just the wax alone does not really bead or sheet amazingly.
Sonax BSD and rim coating nanopro still on my shelf not open yet, got to wait I finish up my Meguiar's UQW first.
Personally I like sheeting more so I am expecting satisfying result from BSD. Look forward to try it.

I am looking forward to get the same effect on my ride like yours after using BSD thumbup.gif

Oh man very sorry to see your rock chips. W XXXX H registration plate some more indicates very new car less than a year.
Why can't rock just stay on the ground.

So what you going to do with these rock chip damages?

it's like 200-300. if you're going to deal with car detailing, i find it a bit... "wrong" to not have one.

In the process of investing into a DA so all other tool got to in my wish list first. tongue.gif

I saw your PW in your video, right on top of your shoes rack.

I think the more expensive one is having higher pressure (bar). But how do I know how many bar is minimum for average use, and how many is essential only for car wash, and how many is optimum for all round usage like blowing off stubborn moss on floor tile?

Because I am very sure if I was to buy a PW, then my mom going to ask me can she use to wash toilet, then my dad going to ask me can he use to blow floor tile, wall moss, etc.

For me, I am definitely just going to use it to wash car, foam cannon, blow carpet, blow wheel, blow engine compartment only.

Thanks for the valuable input man.
Then I think I should target at the PW that is same as your model at least.

When you said gas powered PW, do you mean those air compressor tank that we usually saw in tyre shop?
Any hardcore amateur detailer here having such a machine at your home for personal use? tongue.gif

I agree that Meguiar's Ultimate Wax strength is at its durability not its water beading/sheeting ability, at least so far that is my observation.

QUOTE
personally i don't think i'd wait for my UQW to finish, i still love the east of application and the water beading of it wink.gif

You actually want to type Sonax BSD but mistakenly type Meguiar's UQW?

I have been keeping a close watch on this polisher.

bro acefreakz here has one and I am still waiting him to feedback to me some questions on the polisher such as validity of soft start and cruise control feature.

But from The Detailing World forum, Clean Your Car selling it and they comment it is a good polisher given the price tag.

You got any more infor?

you and me should give more pressure to bro acefreakz for his user infor. tongue.gif

I tell you what I know:

1) Malaysia has distributor of this machine but is in Sabah however if you buy from them shipping is included.
2) Machine use standard 5/16" thread so many backing plate can be used.
3) Only side handle, no D handle.
4) I called the distributor, they claim the machine as stated in their website, has soft start and cruise control. Clean Your Car web also claim the same thing so I think is true just do not know how effective they are. So far the only normal DA (excluding Flex 3401 and Rupes bigfoot) with soft start and cruise control is the Meguiar's G220V2.
5) Made in China.
6) Thailand has one distributor too and selling at least RM100 cheaper than Malaysia distributor. But due to agreement, Thailand distributor cannot ship to Malaysia. So if you travel to Thailand, buy at there is cheaper.

yesterday while passing through sprint highway late morning, the MRT workers were actually throwing / terspill cement + sand + mud liquid onto the road and somehow unlucky i was driving right under when the splash hit my car.

i gave it a good wash the moment i reach home however some was stuck in the loose spaces hence not able to completely remove everything.

would want to know if you guys know anywhere with good car detailer shops in Klang Valley? (preferably Subang / PJ area)

Take photos of damage immediately and complain for a compensation of damage repair.

I guess even Optimum Power Clean cannot clean harden cement.

The furthest I go is betong, Thailand. Not much there accept you know what la. Have you search tao bao since it is a China product.

I never been to Thailand before. I think I will not purposely go there for a polisher purchase too. Thailand famous for something else. brows.gif

I tried Tao Bao but nothing. The manufacturer in China sell in wholesale quantity to whoever directly buy from them. So I do not think those private seller in Tao Bao can afford to buy some bulk quantity.
But I am not dissatisfy with the price offered here in Malaysia. I just want to know how true and efficient is the soft start and cruise control.
Once I verify that I can pretty much pull the trigger between G220V2 or this much cheaper alternative.
