Eh, isn't the polishing cloth similar to those cloth which are used to sweep floor?

It does look very similar doesn't it sweat.gif

But those for sweeping floor are meant to be used dry.
This one can be used wet.

Can you do me a favour? Wet them with water then wipe some glass a few times, as if you're polishing the glass....see if any of them leave any lint or residue. Thanks.

ok I'll try

Sorry haven't had time to do a proper comparison.
Only did a visual comparison and felt the materials with my hands.

Magic Clean is the softest
Daiso has the thinnest material
Sonax is the largest and is thicker and stronger than Daiso

my wife did mention that baby nappy liners might function the same

Yesterday I cut small pieces of each Daiso, Magic Clean & Sonax to try on my TV cabinet's black glass.
None of them left any lint.
I think use the Daiso one most cost effective biggrin.gif

If the DG coating is anything like the one DG malaysia and Maddetailer had been selling these last few of years, then it's really a bang-for-bucks coating. Well...I wouldn't categorize is as a 'coating' per se...more like a 'super-sealant'. I don't think can get the 2 years durability here. I did manage to get it past 6 month before the beading/sheeting started to reduce drastically, heavy water spots starts to form and dirt starting to easily stick to the surface. But considering I got it for 'only' a little bit more than RM100 for a 110ml bottle, I would consider this a value-for-money 'coating'. Oh...used around 25ml to coat my whole Waja...a few years back. [they might have changed the formula though...or at least they definitely had put it into a 'proper' bottle/packaging].

That is very very very cheap compare to what I got from Ace Hardware here.
But after you include everything (shipping, tax, etc), by the time the tape reaches your hand, how much you have spent to acquire it?

No other cheaper local purchase alternative ah?

Mine was shipped to Singapore together with other purchases so it is free shipping tongue.gif biggrin.gif
