while washing my car today, got a few questions wanna ask you all.  Took a photo of the water beading when first rinsing the car (not yet wash).  is it considered good water beading??  this was after 4 weeks of apply ULW. in between weekly got car wash with UWW, and got once apply UQW after wash 2 weeks ago.  the other photo is after washing today, after rinsing, before drying.
Before Wash[attachmentid=4087120]

After Wash, before drying[attachmentid=4087121]

Also, wanna show this paint defect on my car.  this is the one i suspect i accidentally dropped a drop of rain repellent on the paint and unattended.  Phobia ever since.  Last week finally break the phobia and bought PG DuraZ & PG Washer Fluid combo pack.  the combo pack is cheaper than a single bottle of RainX.  I know RainX is the defactor brand to go, but just wanna give PG a try.  First clayed the wind screen (and rear, side windows), then polish with a cheapo waxco Glass Polish compound (not sure if it's any good/effect lols, but i think at least it can clean).  Then apply DuraZ.  At the back label of DuraZ, it reads 'apply every 6000km or 8 weeks for optimum results'.  8 weeks, wow  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  Today the water still beading pretty good, no sign of wear-off yet.
[attachmentid=4087127]

also, had took some time to take pictures of other easily spotted paint defects on my car..  so far i've keep ignoring them first, haha.

If you mean this one then yes I have. What do you want to know?

But, in general, don't like the gun...bought it for RM60 & sold it off soon afterwrds. Uses too much shampoo and put out too little sud/foam.

Yeah....the one above is pretty much useless if you're looking for thick foam that really clings. But I think Karcher had came out with some new ones with adjustable dials and so on. Don't know if they're better.....

the one i have is grey colour which it come with K2 car kit (0.3L) .. thought of :

step 1 Pressure jet wash (rinse with water)
step 2 Hyper wash with foam gun .. leave it for 5- 10 min .. and let the product do their work with out using mist to buffet it.
step 3 Rinse it with pressure jet with water.
step 4 last use M115 for final clean and buffing biggrin.gif

above is full lenght of cleaning or

hyper wash only or M115 only or combine both as mention above brows.gif

I have the same attachment as you. I've only used it twice, with very disappointing results. It is not as well built as other foam lance attachments, just do a youtube search for foam lance and karcher foam lance, you will see a very big difference. Others get snow, Karcher gets melting snow, if you get my drift...

Also, based on my previous searches, Megs Ultimate Wash and Wax doesn't create as much foam as other shampoos.

Try using very hot water when you mix the soap solution, dont shake before you close the top, and don't shake too hard because it freaking leaks! And lastly, play around with the dilution.

I gave up after realising i use 5X the amount of soap with the foam lance vs normal 2 bucket method. Maybe when my kid is older i'll bring it out and have a snow party... or a melting snow party.

You probably meant D115. Meguiars recommends to use on a dry surface, to prevent further dilution of product, saw it on the Megs forums somewhere.

If you're worried that the car is too dirty, skip the D115 and do a 2 bucket wash? But honestly the D115 can be used on rather dirty cars, just use it wet by spraying more product and use lots of towels.

Should be D115 rinse free express wash and wax, aka equivalent to Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere?

And, D156 xpress synthetic spray wax aka equivalent Ultimate Quik Wax?

As far as I know Hyperwash don't contain any wax or anything...just a straight forward chemical shampoo/cleaner. I think you should be able to use D115 as...sort of....a QD-like product to further clean down the surface and shine it up a little more since it got wax in it. Foaming, rinsing (especially using a pressure washer) then using D115 is a good idea. Removing the heavier and loose grit (by pressure washer or normal wash) then only wiping down (with a QD, etc.) is always good as compared to straight away wiping with a 'no rinse'....my personal opinion la...

This is my setup. I bought the foam lance attachment online from Autobrite quite a few years back (plastic bottle included but not attached in the pic taken).
