wohh, so dahsyat.  ok noted will definitely be more careful when using hand compound
just checked with osren, 6 bottle RM 60 or RM 15/bottle is for chemical resistance type.  normal spray head only RM 4, which is even cheaper than daiso! rclxms.gif will definitely visit osren when got chance.  btw, D155 last touch no need use chemical resistance spray head i think?
that's why ppl always says UC should always/preferably followed by UP?
yup now i know got other brands out there, but before that, being a noobie, only knows Meg haha.  now that already bought many megs, can't really go and try out other brands before this current megs runs out.  or else going to end up storing lots of unfinished car care products at home. reminded me of sifu krismas's closet sweat.gif . i also remember while crawling abit v2 thread i think, saw Quazacolt bought a whole bunch of Sonax product also haha, not sure if he finished those.
hmmm, why nobody tried synthetic chamois cloth here for drying hmm.gif ? is it actually not good or not advisable?  does waffle weave have better absorption power & at the same time safer for paint??
*
For synthetic chamois, I have them and I used them. It is very absorbent, to me I would rate it slightly better than waffle weave but it loses out later on when it is wet. You have to wring out more often than a waffle weave. And the fact that most people out there just treat any cloth the same, simply pat and wipe the chamois can inflict more swirls than the waffle weave. Both are meant to be pat and blot, or only DRAG if you pretty sure that panel is damn clean.

Sonax wise, their Polymer Net Shield is good stuff but I don't really use any Sonax products. I mainly use Optimum, with mix and match from Blackfire, Pinnacle, CarPro, Ultima, and Prima. The Prima Hydro Max is something that people should love for.

Autocolourtech is still the 'official' Rupes rep. But, somehow, Bigfoot is represented under a different entity and they seem to get all the supply from SG.
*
So where do you recommend to get the machine and kits from?

aih sad, reminded me how i have to pay school fees because i missed the bus for introductory price cry.gif

personally, i hate the pads too. my LC/buff and shine performed much better, less vibrations.
so hate the polish/pads... personally you're probably better off with machine only lol. then again with the "authorized dealers" be it sg/my, the price diff is so small between the set/machine only, you're very inclined to get the set anyways lol.
*
I see, but how about those in AG online that praised the system? Weather factor?

Where should I get the machine anyway? Autocolortech? Autorage?

And lol remind me of first purchase on AG, buy today, tomorrow 20% off... Straight KNN lol..

no idea bro, or could be just me my pads/unit heh

if you're visiting sg, then autorage else autocolortech not that much more expensive.
if you purposely go sg just to get it, then it'll be even more expensive than autocolortech
*
I live nearby Kuchai Lama, maybe it's good idea for me to drop by and ask? Hopefully they got the LHR15

Oh....if you're interested. Rupes regional distro frm SG is coming up to KL on 30/8. They're doing a little 'meet' here. Maybe they would have some special offer or something. Not sure if Autorage rep is coming too though....haven't chatted with Kelvin for quite some time now. You can ask Mun or Josh for the details. And no, I won't be going cuz I won't be around on that date.
*
Lol Mun, I thought he disappeared after that incident...

Josh wise, I don't think he will layan my query due to our bad past.

Anyone can share the proper method of applying opti-coat 2.0? I was thinking of placing 5 drops on a clean foam applicator pad, spread evenly on 2ft X 2ft area, then place 2 drops for each subsequent 2ft X 2ft.

Spread as evenly as possible to avoid high spot and thus avoiding the need to buff with mf cloth.

Wonder if above steps are correct or not.
*
With our weather, best of luck... You will definitely get high spot. Wipe it lightly as soon as you see it.

The thing is with our temperature and humidity, it flashes off very fast but high spot will dry up fast too, just wipe off lightly as soon as you see it, what already applied will stay applied.

The better application medium would be a suede cloth wrapped over a solid block.

Thanks for the tips. When you mentioned wiping the high spot as soon as it appears, do you mean wiping it using clean mf or the applicator? Suede cloth like the one we use to wipe sun glasses, what do you think?
*
Wipe with clean MF, not the applicator.

To apply with greater results, suggest using suede cloth wrapped around a solid block, suede cloth will absorb less product, streak less.

It is for most thumbup.gif

But, some times la, people just forget that you APPLY waxes/sealants but you'd need to WORK compounds/polishes to get results.
*
Yes, and that WORKING and the pressure need to vary, which many people just use the same pressure all the way.

Why increase shipping? FedEx charges more now?
It is still cheaper if one can go for an one day trip in SG and then bought it conveniently.
