QUOTE(mcko @ Mar 1 2014, 10:50 PM) Make sure you already backup all the files in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Litecoin\ Which wallet u guys prefer the most? This ltc wallet qt macam not stable 1.. I synced few days back, then suddenly today asked me to resync entire thingy again..**Especially** "wallet.dat" file before trying to fix anything. That contains your private keys, ie. coins Might need to reinstall the Litecoin QT at worse. |

QUOTE(mcko @ Mar 1 2014, 11:06 PM) Definitely have to sync because the QT wallet needs the whole blockchain oh yeah, but i completed the sync process few days back before i even started to mine.. until yesterday, i dont know what gone wrong, it stated out of sync again, and i have to run the sync from the beginning again. and i have no idea why is the sync takes such a long time.. up to date on your PC before you can send or receive coins. You can try other lightweight wallets that don't require syncing. I'm not familiar with LTC, but for BTC you have light options like Multibit, and less secure online wallets like blockchain.info, coinbase If you decide to move on to other wallets, you'll need to fix your current wallet so you can send out your coins or export your privkeys to be used in the new wallet system. |

QUOTE(Killy @ Mar 4 2014, 12:56 AM) dude, give config can? yeah sure.. dam, you just started and now my turn to ask for your help haha, very pro i run it at around 700, also throttling due to heat, 80-83C CODE --thread-concurrency 8191 --gpu-engine 1125 --gpu-memclock 1750 --gpu-powertune 30 -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --gpu-fan 95 --lookup-gap 0 from the code above, u should be getting the same khs/temp as mine.. ![]() thats for 780khs, if u wanna run @ 800khs, replace --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1800.. i can run @ 800khs stable with 2 cards, but with 3 cards, even with --gpu powertune 50, it went crashed in few hours time.. so u can try it and se.. QUOTE(goldfries @ Mar 4 2014, 02:14 AM) Try http://www.wemineltc.com yup, currently mining that pool.. just wanna try other pools see.. what do u think about multicoin pools? where they automatically mines the most porfitable coin from time to time..They have many servers, and even an app to check the status of your miners. QUOTE(ar188 @ Mar 4 2014, 09:42 AM) seriously 7950 is the cool operator.. which maker can reach 5000rpm of fan speed? 280x can still be very hot if left on it's own to hit 750khs.. usually i hentam one delta fan blowing at it directly at 5000rpm to keep that card cool.. |

QUOTE(Killy @ Mar 4 2014, 04:08 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « thanks, will test when i get home for multipool, from my experience they get you much better btc/day usually compared to only mining ltc i've tried 2-3, best is still middlecoin, very stable. last week was abit lower though, they had some problem profit will fluctuate daily but overall still better than ltc only http://www.coinwarz.com/miningprofitability/litecoin you can check here, there's always some coins better profit than ltc |

QUOTE(Killy @ Mar 4 2014, 06:05 PM) how long it takes to reach my wallet then? wemineltc is 15 minutes with 20 confirms.QUOTE(Killy @ Mar 4 2014, 06:08 PM) If you check the coinwarz link, at any give time there are coins more profitable than ltc, at times 150% so does it mean if i have 1 btc, im only able to cash out 0.961 btc?In Jan, some were around 175% or so From what i tried, they are really much better than ltc alone, you can try for few days see how Only problem last week they had issues causing lower payout and some coin forked The fee is 3%, plus trading and transfer total around 3.9% |

QUOTE(Killy @ Mar 4 2014, 07:20 PM) btc takes longer, its 10 min per confirm i think, and it takes a few confirmation, sometimes 30-40mins. but that doesn't matter cos it will reach you wallet in the end mind if i ask a noob question, how do i get my bitcoin address?they pay out around 10am everyday the fees are deducted already and they'll send you the btc automatically you can check your balance also from the stats no harm test it out for few days |

QUOTE(Killy @ Mar 4 2014, 09:16 PM) It's the same as Litecoin address, the address in the receive tab of wallet Yup, done.. thanks mate.I assume you've downloaded Bitcoin wallet? If not, can get it from https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet For middlecoin.com, you just paste your bitcoin address in the username, password just put x BTW, is there anyway that I could check my progress? |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Mar 5 2014, 12:39 PM) Sure. Below based on GBM/MYR @ 5.45 now that is cheap.. which site u bought em from?1 - Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - RM1467 14 - Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Toxic OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card - RM1280 1 - MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming Edition OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - RM1118 Now additional costs - rough calculation : 1. DHL, approximately RM380 2. DHL Insurance, approximately RM335 This is assuming 0 import duty / charges which it should be as computer parts aren't taxed. So this adds around RM45 per card overall in shipping/insurance. I may get all the cards repacked and ship without the retail boxes which could reduce the shipping cost a bit. |

i set for auto run the cgminer during startup, but the funny thing is i set my gpu fan to 95, which means --gpu fan 95, but whenever the auto startup executed my cgminer, my fan runs @ 95% for a few seconds only, then drop to around 30% only which is around 900~1000rpm, yet the khs still retains the same.. the temp instantly shoot up to almost 90c..
anyone know how to solve this problem? |
