not really, it all depends on when you sell the Bitcoins for $$ and the market price at the moment you sell. A few months back its 1kUSD/btc. Now its just half that value. When I started mining back in 2011 prices was 5USD/btc smile.gif

thanks, will test when i get home

for multipool, from my experience they get you much better btc/day usually compared to only mining ltc
i've tried 2-3, best is still middlecoin, very stable. last week was abit lower though, they had some problem
profit will fluctuate daily but overall still better than ltc only

http://www.coinwarz.com/miningprofitability/litecoin
you can check here, there's always some coins better profit than ltc

QUOTE(evolution120 @ Mar 4 2014, 05:26 PM)
do they automatically convert other coins into btc before we proceed to cash out into our wallet?
*
yes, they pay in btc only. once a day if exceed 0.01 or 7 days if only 0.001... i think

Does middle coin really that good compare to ltc mining only?
The concept sounds good but not sure of the profitability part.
They "tax" us on certain percent as interest if not mistaken..  hmm.gif
*
If you check the coinwarz link, at any give time there are coins more profitable than ltc, at times 150%
In Jan, some were around 175% or so shocking.gif
From what i tried, they are really much better than ltc alone, you can try for few days see how biggrin.gif

Only problem last week they had issues causing lower payout and some coin forked

The fee is 3%, plus trading and transfer total around 3.9%

how long it takes to reach my wallet then? wemineltc is 15 minutes with 20 confirms.
so does it mean if i have 1 btc, im only able to cash out 0.961 btc?
*
btc takes longer, its 10 min per confirm i think, and it takes a few confirmation, sometimes 30-40mins. but that doesn't matter cos it will reach you wallet in the end
they pay out around 10am everyday

the fees are deducted already and they'll send you the btc automatically
you can check your balance also from the stats
no harm test it out for few days biggrin.gif

mind if i ask a noob question, how do i get my bitcoin address?
*
It's the same as Litecoin address, the address in the receive tab of wallet

I assume you've downloaded Bitcoin wallet? If not, can get it from
https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

For middlecoin.com, you just paste your bitcoin address in the username, password just put x

Yup, done.. thanks mate.

BTW, is there anyway that I could check my progress?
*
If you mean middlecoin, look at the bottom of the page there is a view all user stats
http://www.middlecoin.com/

It shows all the users stats, then u just Ctrl F and paste in your bitcoin address in the find
When u find your own stats, you can click on the total to show your daily payout history
But at the momen the stats are stuck, it will most likely update when he fixes that, happened before

Anyone tried multi switching pools or it's a waste of time n better DIY? Wafflepool looks promising
*
Currently most coins are down, so it's not that much difference from ltc mining
But when coin prices were good, it was much more profitable in multipool

Litecoin is actually #6 on coinwarz.... which is super high

some of this multipool also dumb abit.. go look for all those weird coin some even forked wasted half to 1 day mining..

if payout for other crap coins is low, those multipool should just switch to litecoin.. but last 2 days somehow brilliantly they are even below litecoin straight mining lol
*
QUOTE(goldfries @ Mar 6 2014, 12:16 AM)
that's why I stopped multipool.

some days you can see so clearly one coin is prominently profitable like say Doge but the fella die die switch to stuff like WorldCoin la whatever unknown coins for the sake of switching.

ended up mining all those crappy stuff, and sometimes the switch so often but among nonsense coins to the profit even less.

In the end fed-up. Watch the market, mine what you like. Links provided earlier for those interested. biggrin.gif
*
that's true, sometimes it mines some weird coin like feathercoin....

but for lazy people its convenient biggrin.gif
if hardworking, can manual search for coins

i usually go coinwarz or bitcointalk forum, but it can be tiring
