hahaha. If i tell you, I can't earn anything.

As you are not willing to sell at a bit cheaper than market price, then no point to further our deals.

Will you tell me how you earn your bitcoin?

Of course no.

If you are not willing to forgone some little profit to let other earns, then you do it from A to Z lah.... rclxm9.gif

Hi All,

I was just scammed trying to buy bitcoin and wanted to share my experience.

Anyway I'm quite new to bitcoin and I have learnt an expensive lesson. I usually buy from Reminato. But this time I got a number from the "MY Bitcoin Malaysia" Telegram channel.

I should have known not to trust anyone like this but he gave his MBB account number and hence I would have his name and number.

After I transferred the money. I waited and waited but nothing came in. 10 minutes later I know something went wrong.

Anyway Scammers details are as follows:

Scammers number: 0138698345 - This number is likely prepaid.

MBB Name: Chan Kuo Wei
Account Number : 551128620769

email: belibtc@gmail.com

Yes I was really stupid. Anyway please be warned of this guy.

Very sorry to hear that.
Did you call the number back to check what is the problem?
But, since you have the name and account number, please do not just let it go.
Get ready all the written correspondence with this individual, and quickly lodge a police report and contact Maybank and also BNM to raise an alert for this issue, as this is clearly a case of criminal fraud.
Scammers thrive on the bet that the victims will not bother to take any action, in which case they will be emboldened to continue their criminal acts.

Oh...by the way......if anyone is interested to know...BitX is now rebranded as Luno.
Just a company name change, seems everything remains the same, even the management team.
But unfortunately for Malaysia, their banking account issues are still unresolved at the moment, and we still cannot deposit or withdraw RM.

there are limited option to buy and sell now after the crack down. other than xbit, i think thers another 1 but i couldnt remember the name... the fees are expensive so i stop using it. i remember some1 mention here be4, its a singapore company.

as for scammer etc etc, that is why i rather do it on exchange. no headache later on, wouldnt want to risk few k just to save a couple ringgit. im promoting xbit because i felt that if more ppl going there and the volume is higher. the price would be more stable compare to now, seller can gain alot or loss alot same goes to buyer.... really hate xbit asia, so low volume.

200usd / btc ? that was quite long ago haha... but with current btc dive, i suppose it might touch 500 usd again... bad for me cis....

because we are not mining btc. so its either we sell the alt coin or usd or btc. but im not sure if it worth all the hassle. still have to consider as buyer wants price below xbit Asia and wjat we want is just reduce transaction cost which is roughly 2 to 3 percent only.

Hey guys, just bumped into this tread as I have been a long time i did not check out this tread.

for those who are not sure how to buy bitcoin in malaysia, there is a singapore company called coinhako. Go and check it out as most of the exchange here in malaysia being shut down ( being blocked to be precise ) ie. Bitx. Coinbiz etc ..

For those who are new, avoid at all cost trying to buy from individual unless they are well known. Buy it from the exchange that I just mentioned. U will be safe.

If u are an avid collector, better get an external wallet to be safe. Can't explain everything here in one go..anyone here who are serious about hedging their saving from depreciating RM, bitcoin is something u can seriously consider. Drop me some questions, I will try help as much as I can..

Btw, I'm not claiming to be expert here, I'm sure some of us here has more experience than me hence, I'm just sharing so that everyone should know more about bitcoin.

Cheers!
