Make sure you already backup all the files in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Litecoin\
**Especially** "wallet.dat" file before trying to fix anything. That contains your private keys, ie. coins
Might need to reinstall the Litecoin QT at worse.
Good advice. It's speculated that Mtgox lost access to their private keys either by encrypting it and forgetting and password, not making backups or storing it in a pendrive that resides in a bank safe, which has been taken over by the government. True or not, the lesson it, don't love your private keys and don't keep all your coins in one wallet.**Especially** "wallet.dat" file before trying to fix anything.
