But i still think its waste of natural resources.

Computer parts wear and tear,
Electricity wastage
*
yep. hence why it's not feasible anymore to mine bitcoins using normal computer. people are venturing into the world of ASIC aka highly specialized miner now.

So much processing power is required to maintain a ledger?
*
since 13 million bitcoins already mined, confirm need much processing power to add new thing to blockchain and verifying it.

QUOTE(atombom123 @ Dec 2 2013, 11:21 PM)
I understand the appeal to Bitcoin. I don't like the private bank-controlled currency that gives certain people way too much power either. I like the fundamental concept of Bitcoin, a digital currency run by no one person, but by an open source program that works on its own. However, if something like Bitcoin is to be sound, it ought to be stable as well. Bitcoin is not stable. Perhaps someone could get the source code and modify it in such a way to create a cryptocurrency that is not finite but also accumulates in line with the economy its supposed to represent. Perhaps an economist could be better suited to describe how this might be done.
*
there are alternative cryptocurrencies that is not finite, however judging from their users/miners/trader, i think the idea isn't that popular in the crypto world. sweat.gif

Finally got a official bitcoin thread. Anyway gift you all a classic proverb.
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”

So wait no more and invest in bitcoin now! And anyone who have a good ATI card should mine Litecoin too, kinda profitable recently.
*
all high end AMD cards at newegg sold out liao. crazy sweat.gif

QUOTE(ar188 @ Dec 3 2013, 01:08 AM)
but will ROI in 1-2months.. biggrin.gif
*
still, not many would've put that much money and gamble on it. they prefer the more traditional way e.g. trust fund, mutual fund, fd, REIT etc.

why ppl doing tis...

damn cb..

when ayam buy in high price..

no more modal in hand..

they dump in lower price..

make d market whole day low vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif
*
like that lo usually for. ppl mining then exchange for btc. they no intend to do buysell also. hence, why these coins are called 'scamcoins'.

the procedure :

1. see bitcointalk alternate crypto subforum
2. wait for new coin launch
3. after new coin launch faster go mining
4. petition to include in exchange like cryptsy or others
5. after include in exchange faster go dump it.
6. repeat (1)

QUOTE(ezatamrol @ Dec 3 2013, 08:16 AM)

QUOTE(Azurues @ Dec 3 2013, 10:42 AM)

Yes bro, Jupiter.
*
do u intend to provide shares for jupiter later? since i guess most of us here intend to buy but doesn't have that much money. so probably someone sometime later would provide like for example 20 shares, 1 share around 2k USD just like in bitcointalk group buy.

and since you have safe trader tag, it's more feasible. icon_idea.gif

Currently, Jupiter ready stock worth about USD20k. I'm not planning to do any sharing at the moment, but for Neptune, I am considering it. I have the capital to play with 2 units of USD12k. Maybe in future lol.

Is there any secret? No la lol. I ordered around 25th of October for November unit. biggrin.gif

I'm just glad that my unit does not have any issues at all.

There's 768 cores in this machine, and there's not even single defect here.
*

Some still have yo, some even get a DoA unit. I think it looks fragile too.

ya looks like cikai only. customers paying USD5000 for that thing, at least make it proper la like can mounting on server rack and higher quality of materials.

this one looks really like European version of Chinaman company.
