QUOTE(goldfries @ Mar 10 2014, 11:12 AM) It can help. For 2GB RAM you're limited to some 8196 TC. hmm... i tried changing to higher TC but get bad hashrate .... think for me the gpu are stuck at 8193 and average 720 kH/s .... I can't remember if that setting works on 2GB but so happen I experimented it on my 8GB (work) machine and it gets me 400Kh/s. |

Other way is to perma flash the bios rom using atiflash....
I thought a psu with rated 1000w can produce 800w going by the efficiency math. Assuming gold 80+ probably can give u 900-950w? |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Mar 20 2014, 01:35 PM) 860W from the wall on 3 x 280X currently, although third card is doing 670Kh/s where as the first 2 are 720Kh/s (identical cards and settings) 4x vapor-x draws me 950W ....Going to let it run for a bit then add 2nd PSU and more cards. Think I screwed up one of my boards by putting the riser in the wrong way around into the 16x slot |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Mar 20 2014, 01:48 PM) How about GPU / Memclock? here..... all my boards doing 720 KH/sI'll try changing voltage down a bit further and see how it goes, every little helps. Just a pain in the ass that I can't change voltage with sgminer and need to flash the BIOS each time "auto-fan" : true, "auto-gpu" : true, "temp-cutoff" : "84,84,84,84", "temp-overheat" : "81,81,81,84", "temp-target" : "73,73,73,73", "gpu-fan" : "80,80,80,80", "intensity" : "13,13,13,13", "vectors" : "1,1,1,1", "worksize" : "256,256,256,256", "lookup-gap" : "2,2,2,2", "thread-concurrency" : "8193,8193,8193,8193", "failover-only" : true, "expiry" : "120", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-engine" : "1020,1030,1030,1030", "gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500,1500,1500", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "0", "scan-time" : "30", "scrypt" : true, "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Mar 20 2014, 01:59 PM) Thanks. I get an error if I try tc @ 8193 are u using windows?.... i got no exp on windows. BAMT 1.3 on usb im using stable~Otherwise settings are nearly the same - 3rd card still gets less Kh/s though. Will try lowering voltages a bit more, see if can reduce usage a bit then add next PSU and GPUs |
