What do you think is the most dangerous stuff on the internet?
I think it is "Remote Access Trojan (RAT)"

1) Hackers uploaded the RAT exe file to a exploit server.
2) Visitors visit the server/hackers send the affected website link to the particular victims.
3) The malicious code is written in js file and the js file will automatically downloaded to visitor's PC
(C:\users\pcname\AppData\Local\Temp)
4) The js file automatic install the RAT Program?
5) The RAT program will auto send the victim's IP address and username/password to the hackers each time the visitors online?

I can see that some people were scammed by videos on YouTube that "taught" them how to hack Facebook and yada-yada.

Those videos usually asked them to download and install fake hacking software binded with RAT on their computers.

Also, RAT is one of good reasons to avoid pirated software.

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2381151,00.asp
"A variant on an established Trojan for the Apple Mac OSX operating system has been discovered by Sophos.
OSX/MusMinim-A is a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) for the OSX platform, which is also known as "BlackHole RAT". SophosLabs analyzed the sample it received and determined that it is a variant of a well-known Remote Access Trojan (RAT) for Windows known as darkComet. ....."

Just wondering, is this possible?
Whether you are using Windows (with Internet security Suites), or Linux (fedora, ubuntu...etc) or Mac os x.
The hacker only needs few hours time to hack into your computer and take control of your computer without the need of you click any link, or click [Agree] button to install any software.

Has Your Computer Been Hijacked?

Computer hijacking happens when someone snatches control of your computer and makes it do his evil bidding. This is bad not only for the owner of the computer but also for the millions of Internet users against which the hijacked machine is used.
........
Could your computer be hijacked? Imagine the police asking you why you downloaded......

Terrible man, better STOP using Windows, Mac, Linux to connect internet all together.
Maybe just use the live Fedora DVD, only connect when needed, and disconnect immediately after finish using the internet.
And shut down pc, re-boot/re-start the live Fedora CD/DVD every few hours.

(imagine few years ago, i used to connect my Windows pc/laptop by using the mobile 3G broadband 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and when in Hotel connect hotel's broadband overnight,
no anti-virus/malware scanner install also, what had happened to my pc/laptop whether it had been taken control by the hacker? I totally didn't know !!! )

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I never install Antivirus on my Windows laptops until Oct 2010.
until after reading some article about "bots"
Microsoft's article - http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/botnet.aspx
And thestar news dated 27 May 2012:
