Well the closest you can get is by Airbrushing and using paint brand Alcald Aluminum...it will be close but not as chrome like the original.

No need to strip it as you can cover it with primer first the airbrush it after.

spraying over chromed parts is always a waste.. since you'll never get that kind of finish.. normally i just tend to ignore the nub mark, it's usually not that noticable, since the chrome will most likely distract anyone looking at it on display

alternatively, you can always play with poses, and make it so that it's even less visible

i want to paint my beam magnum black but i dont want to invest in an airbrush, you guys thing doin it with tamiya markers and coating it will do the job?

i think the new build fighters ep is amazing.. more battles coming, and the next episode, battle royale i hope they do an actual full scale battle, rather than the battles like Qubeley, just funnel and everyone else blows up in a few seconds
the new Star Build Strike's animation is something like the one you see in 00 Gundam or at least that's what i feel

J Type is ground unit, while F Type is space unit, hence F Type has extra thrusters at the legs and feet, and larger backpack thrusters
Char's Custom is an S Type, which is basically a F Type but extra thrusters at the legs and different backpack

White Ogre is a J Type, just with extra belt with bazooka ammo

both Black Tri-Star and Shin's Custom are R-1A Type, a high maneuverability type Zaku
with external boosters at the lower legs, and different backpack
Black Tri-Star has the 320mm bazooka, while Shin has the 320mm bazooka prototype

Johnny's Custom is R-2 Type, which is improved version of R-1A
the difference is the legs' external boosters have a larger armor design
and this kit has Johnny's signature weapon, the 360mm bazooka
