Hi..am a noob here.

I wanna paint metallic colours onto my gundam. My question is for top coat, do I use glossy, semi-glossy or matte?

Anyone can recommend a paint for metallic red? I wanna paint the sinanju metallic red.

I am building the Sazabi now. It's damn nice to build this one right? I am also having this dilemma on whether I should paint it... but I may just end up painting the inner frame only

But the reason for different tones it's because it's ver Ka. If it's OVA, then it'll be all one red tone. But I guess it's easier to paint with just one red tone.

It is cheaper...even with shipping. I ordered from Japan. The thing is, sometimes our ***** customs will tahan the parcel at Sepang (which happened to me). Of course I ordered like a RM1000.00 worth. But the hassle.... You can appoint a custom agent at RM50.00 and also pay the tax additionally which is 10% of total value (including postage). I wanted to save the 50.00 so I went to Sepang to collect it. They ask you to go from one counter to the other... I spent like 2 hours there (excluding the journey there and back). In the end, I also paid about 100.00 for tax...
The thing about gunplas..the boxes are huge. So it will naturally be tahan at customs...cause they are lazy to open it.

My 2 cents, look around for cheaper kits in Malaysia. Deliver to your doorstep in the next working day...
