Hmm .. i search gundam.my and no stock for that anymore T_T

QUOTE(Zheng26 @ Dec 19 2013, 09:50 AM)
Apparently i started using the Gold Gundam Marker and Silver Gundam Marker. The gold was really nice and good but the silver was shitty seriously just plain down right bad... don't get the silver marker from bandai it isn't good.

What? I just purchased Silver from HLJ and not yet unwrap it O.O

My first time using gundam marker.

The silver looks ok but I dunno how to apply correctly although I do it one way painting.
Close look ugly but far look ok.

This is blue frame's dagger and dark hound lance.

advice u get some spray cans.. those 7.90 chrome silver from Mr.DIY does wonders.. also u might want to go over it several times with the gundam marker.. gundam marker normally is quite watery so it shouldn't have all those directional lines.. see my pic just above, the blacks are all using gundam marker.. quite clean, actually.. that's only 1 coat
*
Here hardly get spray can cause in Sarawak sad.gif

The silver gundam marker quite fast dry which makes me sometime overlay the coat and make it thicker sweat.gif

is it really a gundam marker? or is it just markers from stationary shops? because as far as i know, gundam markers don't dry so quickly hmm.gif

Gundam marker silver ordered from HLJ last time.

Maybe silver dry quick? This is my first gundam marker though.

Still waiting other gundam markers to be shipped.

weird, did you try shaking it and letting the ink drip into the nip first? sometimes they won't work that well.. need to leave it with the tip pointing down for a while so the ink can flow through, it should be quite watery as opposed to drying quickly
*
Ya, it's really watery.

But when I first apply the first coat, i will check that whether the surface good or not.
Then I tried to apply again (maybe 2~3 minutes later), then the first coat got pushed away (kinda like cement already), haha ..

Still noob though ..

just gently paint over the first coat, but wait for it to dry first.. after it dries and you spot uneven surface, just gently paint over it again, don't be too rough or you'll definitely scratch off the first coat

Normally how long a marker survive/last ?

Just ordered Red Frame and sure gonna paint the katana XD

Hi, guys. Wanna ask u that how u normally apply Real Grade Decal eh ?

Somehow i hate the bubble when it reach those not flat place or curve like the shoulder parts and legs.
From far maybe unable to notice but i'm quite a perfectionist, lol ...

I tried to put some Mr. Mark Setter on it and some part did the trick but some still hard.

Doing RG Freedom and cant find water decal for it sweat.gif

Soon maybe will tear away the shoulder part and force to use "ET" that decal doh.gif

Use toothpick to go into the crevices and push out the bubble.

3rd party water decals, I applied on my RG Freedom already. However some I still use the stickers, especially the shining silver part.

Haha .. where to get immediate stock to post to Sarawak? Lol ...

Wanna use on my Freedom RG for Hobbylink tv competition.

Anyone joining ?

Find Samuel Decals. They ship directly from HK. However, some of the markings are not as clear as original, especially small pieces. It will look like bunch of white lines instead of small wordings on stickers provided. However, big pieces are great! And the finishing too!
*
lol ... kinda hard as the due date is 1/1/2014

The original Realistic stickers really hard to apply doh.gif sweat.gif

And the bubble also will come back after a while due to the stickers losing the sticky effect ...
