no you're wrong, pre-painted as in terms of in single parts it got prepainted details like, camera eyes, pistons etc etc
as for gundam model kits, it is just a single runner plate, single color parts.....

for example, this pre-painted megaman zero faceplate

if there's something you can't buy, you're not using enough money brows.gif
haha.. of course, this would only be relevant to gunpla.. even the most rare kit has a price tag wink.gif
*
well, have to agree to that (since I can't find any gunpla that can't be bought at the moment, as long as you have the cash) tongue.gif
back to gundamsp01's question; he's asking how, that's why I said there's always a way to find one; can afford one, willing to pay for one, that is another story brows.gif

nothing, as the item is around 1kg...i think the postage also quite pricey...so held back abit... laugh.gif
*
if kitkat can sell Sazabi ka for 280 include postage fee, I don't think they will charge you much, I think hmm.gif
anyway, just sharing only, ultimate decision will always be yours, cheers brows.gif

astray noir is a must buy for my case, really like the design, cant wait to paint it with candy coat purple  drool.gif
just that have to get the best price (the one not deviate too much from the base price selling in jp)  tongue.gif

and since i have other kits to busy with...so, not urgent for me, but if i see a good price then surely will get it first then put it back home for worshiping before actually do the paintjob on it few months later
*
one thing as a reminder, this one is NOT mass-product, it's a Pandai limited kit. you wait, the price might get higher, or it will be more difficult to find later on...

sweat.gif quite frankly, 'what gundam to buy in japan' isn't going to invite many responses.. just find one you like.. what's the point of asking, actually.. if you want to get value for money, go get GFT exclusives so japan bandai exclusive ones.. otherwise, we don't know what you like, how to advice sweat.gif
*
true, shld one of us recommend you the HG 1/144 Dendrobium, will you go for it? hmm.gif
as what leejok2003 replied, you may wanna look at those pandai releases which are more cheaper than those you can find locally. Cheers...

Gaianotes 1002 Railroad color series, recommended by tytroum, been using it for all my inner frames since then.

i thought i picked that up from you? tongue.gif i can't remember.. i remember someone taught me because i was having trouble with them
*
I recalled that you are one of them that completed the Nu 1st, maybe you'd picked the idea from someone else, but definitely not from me, me not that creative tongue.gif

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Feb 1 2014, 11:37 AM)
The funnel make it harder to pose the nu, especially since it's asymmetrical design.

Btw, where you bought and how much is the extra funnel?
*
I don't think that the funnels will make it hard to pose, the hard part is making the funnels stay together, the clips are not helping; painting the clips improve just a tiny bit rclxub.gif
As for where I bought the extras, I got them from HWZ forumer in S'pore; how much I can't remember liao sweat.gif shld b around S$70 me thinks....

Inner frame spray is a must? I think I can get a guide at online about it right?
*
If you ask me, I'll say no necessary, since 90% of the inner frame will be covered by outer armor parts....but I kinda like painting all of them.
Some may paint those that are visible after assembly....up to individual opinion thumbup.gif

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Feb 1 2014, 12:21 PM)
Really? I gota hard time trying to make it stand straight, maybe because my shelf is glass, thus slippery.

I think I'll get the 'cheaper alternative' funnel...
*
Alternative funnels are totally different....if you're not aware of this...

Afaik, there's two version, one is the same, and the other is custom. I'm more interested in the 'effect' part for the funnel.
*
well then, we'll just wait for your completed project thumbup.gif
while I'll continue with the Sinanju sweat.gif

So sifu, I'm going get rx78-2 3.0 which spray should I get? Sorry need you guys spoon-fed me
*
The term 'sifu' hope you're not referring to me tongue.gif
But still can give you some advise....
From your question, which spray, you're referring to type of spray, or color?
Type of spray, depends on your commitment to this hobby.
Long term, go for AB. Beginner set not so expensive, still can find and not bad. If you're experienced modeler, no need to say much...
Short term, can opt for spray cans. Cannot elaborate much in this thread, can try asking in the painting thread....
Color wise, depends on individual....some like original colors, while others may want to customized it themselves.
Hope this helps icon_rolleyes.gif

Sorry, forgot to mention this; there's always another type of modelers; straight builders flex.gif
