Download the whole firmware and update by flashing through MOP

just to update you. better wait .. till someone confirm no trigger

on my phone, i update it, now no more root , however knox is still 0x0.
trying to find safer way to root it back without triggering.

For rooted user, please turn off auto software update in setting

Then download the whole firmware and flash it using Mobile Odin Pro. By this way you can retain your root access and update to the latest base without updating the bootloader. And you won't trip the knox counter.

If you update via OTA or flash using pc Odin then you will loose your root and updated to newer bootloader which you can't root without tripping knox as of now.

I am 99% sure there is no further way to circumvent knox. So your wait will be until your warranty finish. On the other hand, the good news is samsung malaysia is still honoring warranty of devices with knox trip reason being we do not know. But its your own risk to take if you wanna trip knox.
