Hi sifus, i facing the same issue.
these 3 method same as i restart my phone (manually).
I wan it can b solved...(automatic connect to 3g)

anyways u don't need to restart, just enable airplane mode then disable and the 3G will be back

quality for me is ok la.... (no ori 1 to compare)..
this case "with" those speaker hole, mic hole which missing from some fake case...
