Hi guys..

Now I live happily with a rooted phones, both my Note 3 and my wife G2 smile.gif

Now I have more controls of my phone although sometimes I could feel the phone is going to be hang.. huhu..

So now 2 things that I still cannot achieve and I am very disappointed:
1. How could I change the notification panel to something smaller and tidy? The default one is too big to my liking.
2. How could I copy text from facebook status/newsfeed etc (official fb app)? I've tried this but it doesnt work sad.gif

Byt the way, regarding the SMS, now I use chompSMS. It's great!

Thanks so much sett eszol and WilYi.. smile.gif

Ok now settled about the notification panel display.

But have another annoyance, previously I have installed Disable Increasing Ring. Previously, I have to remove the notification icon manually everytime I reboot.

Now, I dont have the notification icon anymore since I modified the App Setting. But the status of that Disable Increasing Ring still appear in the notification panel.

If I'm not mistaken, if rooted, i could easily overcome that annoying increasing issue right. So, no need to use Disable Increasing Ring anymore. But how?

Thank you.

Scrapbook to the rescue  rclxms.gif just whip out your S-Pen, choose 'Scrapbooker'... highlight the FB status.. the text would be copied to your Scrapbook app in which you will be able to  copy/paste freely

wow, thank you.. Finally the benefit of S Pen which I rarely use! hahaha...

You can just install Wanam xposed and disable the increasing ringtone from there. Alternatively, just go playstore and download Note II hidden setting. From there you can disable it as well without the notification icon

Thank you WilYi..

I've installed that note 2 settings as per your suggestion (use the premium one) but still cant get to see the option to disable increasing ring, all the sound settings inside there related to camera sound. or is it done automatically?

By the way, after install that, only I turn back to the original keyboard since now I can print all the symbol by shift key including comma. But now the problem is, the keyboard really looks big, haha..

have tried the app setting but doesnt seem right. anyone? huhu..

Thanks.

Note 2 hidden setting is only to help you to enable the sub symbol in keyboard and add a toggle for the camera shuttle sound. The keyboard size is bigger after you enable the sub symbol? Shouldn't be and the size is remain the same.

For non increasing ringtone, you can try using Wanam or in Xposed's download section, they have a module that disable the increasing ringtone, not sure if it works or not but if I remember correctly, Wanam's one work wor

oh sorry for the confusion.

actually i mean the default samsung keyboard is quite big, since previously I use A.Itype Keyboard and TouchPal which the size can be customized, huhu.

You can change this ma. When you create or edit a contact, tapping on the Microsoft Active Sync will allow you to change where you wanna save it.

Tq so much. Just noticed that.

But how do I export the Microsoft contact to device?

I've tried my best to figure it out but could not find any.

Thanks in advance.

I really got distracted with the way note 3 displaying the contact id on top since it will cover up the people face. Is there anyway that I could change this?

I've tried install HD full screen caller, but it needs to set the contact picture within the app itself in order to get a really nice appearance. If I use the default contact picture, it looks damn ugly! So, it's pretty useless since the original problem is I only want the caller ID to be placed at bottom so that it won't block the people's face. That's all.

Thank you.

Glass SP won't affect the visual or clarity of the screen. In fact you won't even notice if there is any SP is applied.
What contact photo?

If that's the case I can't help you in this, there is no way to change the location of the caller id but it doesn't really affect me much.
*
Thanks, at least you understand the problem, haha.

Anyway, my complain make sense right?

please see my screencap below..

Thank you.

This is when your contact picture is not in hd format and very small in size.
*
I've tried that, but it still strected the photo like my screenshot sad.gif

Do u use the stock dialer as well?

If not, mind to share what you use and screenshot if possible?

By the way, i came across an app call Indian Caller Info which claims can give location and telco info of the caller. Have u all use it?

Thank you..
